This video essay from Alexandra Heller-Nicholas can be found on the Arrow Video release of Dario Argento's THE BRID WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE. This essay pretty much has her talking about Argento's filmmography as we see clips from the films as well as a few words from Heller-Nicholas. If you're a fan of Argento then you should enjoy this twenty-minute featurette as there are some nice opinions given and for the most part it was fun going through the director's films. The early films like the Animal Trilogy, DEEP RED and SUSPIRIA gets the majority of the running time as we're down to four-minutes when she begins to discuss his films like OPERA, TRAUMA and THE STENDHAL SYNDROME. Right there is when this cuts off as Heller-Nicholas says that was Argento's final great film. I would agree but at the same time it would have been nice to hear about all of his movies including the skipped TWO EVIL EYES.
