This here is a wonderfully entertaining featurette that has Asia Argento talking about the film she made with her father, THE STENDHAL SYNDROME. She starts off talking about how she wasn't the one the role was written for and then we hear about how she finally got the part. From here she goes into very good detail about various stages of the production including how hard the rape scene in the film was to shoot. She talks about the brutal nature of them and how a body double was required at time. She also goes into detail about a scene that she thought was going to kill her as well as what it was like working with her father on the picture. If you're a fan of the film or of Argento then you'll certainly love this interview. Clocking in at twenty-minutes, this thing does a very good job at getting some terrific stories as Argento tells one great story after another. The controversial nature of the film is briefly touched upon but I guess talking about what it was like filming a rape scene in front of your father would have been awkward.
