The Lossen fulfills expectations

It has become a habit for me, whenever I attend a Film Festival (as was the case with RIFFA), to review all the synopsis's ahead of time for every movie that will be shown at 'said' festival. I then write down the titles of all the films I wish to see based on whichever synopsis happens to grab my interest. Afterwards, I check out the viewing schedule to see when my picks will be showing and if any of them happen to overlap, I review the content for each of the films that happen to be showing at the same time and I choose the one that speaks to me the most. In saying that, at the last film festival I recently attended (Regina International Film Festival and awards), out of all 140+ movies whose synopsis's I reviewed, my choice was narrowed down to a dozen. As it was, "The Lossen" happened to be one of them. When I attended the screening, I immediately knew that I was in for a treat the moment the film began. The eery, yet enticing scenery that the film began with completely captured my attention, keeping me focused on what was yet to come and within moments surprised me with the unexpected, placing a satisfied smile on my face. I was hooked, nodding my head knowingly that I made the right choice to come see this film. Superb acting, fantastic cinematography, clean, clear, crisp sound and just an enjoyable story all around, sending a powerful message to all those who care to receive it. A film I recommend all to see because there's a little bit of something in it for everyone.
