Peter Morrow mentions how he did two tours as g.i. in Kosovo, presumably referring to the NATO intervention in Kosovo in 1999 against the security forces of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and their commander in chief, the President of Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic. In reality, there were no ground warfare between NATO forces and the Yugoslavian army during that conflict, only airstrikes.
