Shot on location in the city of Savannah, Georgia over a period of five days. With a screenplay of about 45 pages, roughly 9 pages were shot each day.
The film was shot out of sequence in a specially planned out schedule where almost all of the supporting actors were finished by the second day of shooting. On the third and forth day, the production completed all the remaining scenes involving dialogue with the four primary actors. Finally, on the fifth day, the crew worked with the principle actor on multiple scenes with no dialogue or other characters, thus completing principle photography.
The budget for the film was only $3,000.
Director Allen Childress made the film with a crew of three people, including himself. His roommate Benjamin Chapman and fellow classmate Brandon Ginchereau served as cinematographer and boom operator respectively, while Allen wrote, directed, produced, and edited the film.
The film was screened primarily around Allen Childress's college. He screened it twice: the first was held in Lacoste, France, during an abroad study program; the second was held in a screening room at a class building of the college. Allen regularly held private screenings for certain professors, friends, and family as well.
