Is this episode the best Hawaii Five-0 episode? No! Is it a bit of fun for Christmas? Too bloody right it is! I think some people take these shows too seriously. I will always assume that the Halloween and Christmas episodes will be a bit more tongue in cheek and don't think any less of them because they're are choosing to have a bit of fun. If you want serious and realistic, watch a documentary!

Disappointing

I've been watching this series from the beginning, this episode marks the lowest point so far. Contrived stilted story partly narrated though irritating 5-yr-old questions (not a criticism of the young actor). Poor dialogue. Saccharin atmosphere. I rarely review but post in the hope that the producers respond by trying harder in the future.

Snooze! This was by far the most boring episode I ever watched. In fact I stopped watching it half way through because it was so boring. Danny's character is so dull and dry, the story he tells his son throughout the whole episode is a story you would tell a child to make them fall asleep. I miss Park and Kim in the show. Danny is the worst character is the show. He does not even remotely resemble a police officer.

I don't mind the new cast members but the stories get more far fetched as time passes...and whats with all the hugging...if its trying to show the closeness of the members as being a family and calling everyone uncle so and so it just doesn't work...any christmas story would have been better than watching this episode...
Even the writers must have been bored.

It's very difficult to put into words how poor this episode is!
From the complete lack of pace to the saccharine exposition courtesy of the child.
At what point did the the writers think this episode was a sound career move ? As all American tv has to go through a committee , many poor decisions by many people culminated in this travesty. I was fast forwarding through the Danny and child bits hoping there might be a story in there somewhere. No luck.
This season started relatively strongly. (Apsrt from the cabin lift!) .Especially with the changes to the cast. After the last few episodes ( Danny's flash forward episode was slow). May be it's time to bring the show to a close.

This is one of the worst episodes ever, looks like the scriptwriters have ran out of stories. What a drag, Danny telling a Xmas story to his son about an action of the team concerning a bank robbery by dressed-up Santa's. I had to use fast-forward as I wanted to see the end. I also miss Park & Kim in the show. If this goes on like this, it should be their last season.

No disrespect for men and women serving their country. But this was just hail to the troupes and christmas in one lame disgusting soup. This show had humor and quirk. Now it is repeating itself over and over. I am out of here.
