One of the best pop love songs from 1990 was Elton's "Sacrifice" and the music video is intimate with emotional feel as the passion and love between that of a man and woman is showcased. And the couple have a young daughter only to split and the man then raises her, the words and video go hand in hand as it's moving showing that love and life no matter with passion or how intimate it is still it's a real hard struggle like a roller coaster! Also the mood and setting of the video is relaxing seeing the waves of the ocean! And very young and not known at the time was the man in the video was Chris Isaak(a year before his "Wicked Game" hit). One of the better music songs and videos of 1990.

Obvious , it represents more than a song but reflection of a state, long time keeped by the viewer. Its bitter beauty, the voice of Elton John sounding after years in memory, the images as a sort of chain all does special, in deep sense, this great and useful and painful and delicate work.
