• Kara Danvers : Father's lab. I can't believe it's still here. I spent so many afternoons with him here, watching him work. Sometimes when he was working on a problem, he'd use me as a sounding board. He talked to me like I was another scientist. He'd make me feel like the most important person that ever existed.

• Alura Zor-El : Winn, listen to me. I am using cache crystals on Argo City to reach you. It is the only way we have of communicating from under the dome. I know I sound like Alura.

  Kara Danvers : [cut to Argo]  But it's Kara. My mom and Mon-El are with me.

  Alura Zor-El : [cut back to the DEO]  We're stranded on Argo. Sam's in trouble, and we believe that Reign is still alive.

  Winn Schott : ALEX!

• Alura Zor-El : [watching Mon-El work]  He's a good man.

  Kara Danvers : Yeah. Yeah, he is.

  Alura Zor-El : The connection between you two is obvious. He makes you happy. Do you love him?

  Kara Danvers : Mom, that's... that's not an easy question to answer.

  Alura Zor-El : Why not?

  Kara Danvers : There's a history between us. And complications.

  Alura Zor-El : When this crisis is over, I hope that we will find time for you to tell me all about it.

  Kara Danvers : I'd like that.

• Supergirl : Mom, this is Alex.

  Alura Zor-El : [hugging her]  Oh!

  Alex Danvers : I...

  Alura Zor-El : You and your family rescued my daughter. I am indebted to you.

  Alex Danvers : Well, sometimes I think she's the one that rescued us.

• Supergirl : [Demos is hit by three heat vision rays]  No!

  Winn Schott : No!

  Vita : She actually cares for these humans.

  Selena : One would have thought that the Girl of Steel would know that caring makes you weak. Give me the blood.

  Supergirl : You want the blood?

  [she glances at Alura, who gives a small nod] 

  Supergirl : You can have it.

  [she tosses then vials into the air and fires her heat vision at them] 

• Alex Danvers : If they're regular Kryptonians, we should be able to track them down.

  Alura Zor-El : They're protected by magic.

  Winn Schott : I will find them.

  Supergirl : Do you think we should call J'onn?

  Alex Danvers : No, he's with M'yrnn. I'll get him if the situation becomes dire.

• Winn Schott : 8.0 earthquake, tornadoes and superstorms over Madagascar? Tsunami warning? We got a hundred percent chance of, you guessed it, Reign.

  Supergirl : It's the terraforming.

  Mon-El : On Zune, they terraformed her planet's natural resources, so they'd go right throught the planet's core to create a genesis event.

  Supergirl : Destroy all life in order to be reborn.

  Mon-El : Exactly.

  Alex Danvers : Go through the Earth's core, and you get pretty close to Madagascar.

  Winn Schott : Okay, well, so that's what the witches are doing. Can I ask how long it took this genesis event to be completed?

  Mon-El : Hours.

  J'onn J'onzz : [entering]  I'm not gonna let that happen.

• Alura Zor-El : [in Selena's house]  It's an atlas of the Earth.

  Kara Danvers : I've seen these writings before, in Coville's journal. They're instructions.

  Thara Ak-Var : Instructions for what?

  Mon-El : For making Worldkillers.

  Kara Danvers : Seems the Daughters of Juru created Reign, Purity, and Pestilence years ago on Krypton and then sent them to Earth. And now, they're following.

• Thara Ak-Var : Kara, do you recognize this?

  Kara Danvers : [reading an inscription]  "Whoever wields this sword shall bathe in the blood of the old worlds, and reign with might over the new."

  Alura Zor-El : It's an ancient religious text. According to lore, the scabbard holds the sword of Juru.

  Mon-El : It would appear the sword is real, and missing.

• Alura Zor-El : Kara, look.

  Kara Danvers : Is that a hologram crystal?

  Alura Zor-El : Yes.

  [she activates it, and a hologram of Selena appears] 

  Selena : Hello, Alura. I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye. I was in a rush.

  Alura Zor-El : You may have left Argo, but you will never be able to escape yourself, Selena. Your shame will follow you on any planet.

  Selena : It is you who should feel shame. You, who are responsible for the death of Krypton, you who are unrepentant.

  Alura Zor-El : I lost my home, just as you did. I lost my husband. I thought you and I had been rebuilding our culture together.

  Selena : Our culture? For twenty years, I've been biting my tongue, masquerading as one of you, while my culture has been forced into the shadows, deemed unworthy.

  Kara Danvers : Then why did you give us the Harun-El?

  Selena : My sisters and I have waited patiently for the Worldkiller to rise and make the Earth habitable for our people. It was supposed to happen long ago, but the human in Reign proved strong. Reign and Samantha Arias had to be separated. I was going to do it myself, but you saved me the trouble. Only one of them will survive the split. How quaint that you thought it should be the human.

• Kara Danvers : Sam is alive and Reign is dead. I saw it happen.

  Selena : You're naïve, just like your mother if you thought that is what happened.

  Mon-El : And you're naïve if you think the people of Earth won't find a way to stop Reign.

  Selena : Oh, it's not Reign who will need to be stopped, it's Earth herself.

  Kara Danvers : What do you mean?

  Selena : Reign is the spark that ignites the eruptions. Seismic catastrophes that would wipe out all humans and terraform the Earth. It's almost a pit, really, that you won't be around to see it.

  Kara Danvers : [realizing just in time]  We have to get out of here. It's a trap!

• Kara Danvers : Selena couldn't have known I was going to come back after she gave me the Harun-El. She had to have another plan to get to Earth. Are there any other ships on Argo?

  Alura Zor-El : No, they were all destroyed, and we've rebuilt nothing.

  Kara Danvers : What about the Legion? Can you call them with the beacon?

  Mon-El : Unfortunately, the beacon didn't survive the explosion.

• Alura Zor-El : All your father wanted to do was save us all.

  Kara Danvers : Well, he built this dome. He saved Argo.

  Alura Zor-El : He was looking for another way, but he never got it completed in time. Maybe that's what Selena was planning on using. She knew it existed, she had years to get it working.

  Kara Danvers : Get what working?

  Alura Zor-El : The transmat portal. Your father had been developing it to get every Kryptonian off the planet before it exploded. But he failed.

  Mon-El : Where's the portal now?

• Mon-El : The portal doesn't look so bad. Selena and her witches had it mostly working.

  Kara Danvers : Well, even if we get it up and running, we'd need another portal to transport to.

  Mon-El : Well, they have one in the DEO. We just have no way to contact them.

  Kara Danvers : Are there any crystals here? I mean, maybe we can contact them the way we did Selena.

  Alura Zor-El : All he had are these. Kryptonian cache crystals, like the ones I put in your pod.

  Mon-El : I've seen those in the DEO.

• Mon-El : It worked. Portal's on. Now just fire it up and bring us home.

  Winn Schott : All righty.

  [an alarm goes off] 

  Kara Danvers : Winn?

  [the portal turns off] 

  Kara Danvers : Winn, what happened?

  Alex Danvers : We got this.

  [leaving with Demos] 

  Alex Danvers : Come on.

  Winn Schott : You guys, I think the Dark Kryptonians are here.

• Alura Zor-El : Your friend was back, but now he's gone.

  Mon-El : We need to know what's going on there.

  Supergirl : Let me try.

  [the Alura hologram activates in the DEO] 

  Supergirl : This is the hologram's point of view.

  Mon-El : Okay, now we know what's going on. Can you get their portal online?

  Supergirl : I'm trying.

  [the hologram tries to activate the portal, but its hand passes right through the panel] 

  Supergirl : Well, that's not good.

• Alura Zor-El : Vita.

  Vita : Alura. How did you survive?

  Alura Zor-El : I'm faster than I look.

  [Alura leaves, and Vita follows her] 

  Supergirl : She took the bait.

• Lena Luthor : I know why Sam's sick.

  [showing them her tablet] 

  Lena Luthor : Okay, these are Sam's blood cells, and these are Reign's. Sam's blood cells are getting weaker, while Reign's are getting stronger. They share a symbiotic, non-local entanglement. Reign and Sam are still connected. Reign's back and she's getting stronger by the minute.

  Supergirl : But I destroyed the Worldkillers' blood.

  Winn Schott : Demos gave his life to stop them.

  Lena Luthor : Well, I don't know how, but they have it.

• Mon-El : Well, if... if Reign is getting stronger, then couldn't the opposite be true? If-if Sam gets stronger, then Reign would get weaker.

  Lena Luthor : Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

  Alex Danvers : But how? Nothing we've tried has worked.

  Alura Zor-El : The Fountains of Lillith.

  Supergirl : The fountains of what?

• Alura Zor-El : Years ago, when I sentenced Jindah Kol Rozz to prison, she spouted about vengeance. One fountain gave infinite strength. The other brought weakness. She spoke of a woman born of the fountain with the power of destruction.

  Supergirl : Reign was created in the Dark Valley, and she doesn't get her powers from the yellow sun. Maybe she got them from this fountain.

  Samantha Arias : Then it's settled. I'm going back to the Dark Valley.

  Alex Danvers : Sam, you're too weak.

  Mon-El : We don't have Brainy to get you there.

  Samantha Arias : Lena was able to do it.

  Lena Luthor : That was using electric shock, and in your current condition, Alex is right. I don't know if you'd survive.

  Samantha Arias : Well, that's a risk I'm willing to take if it means ending Reign and saving the world. And I have to do it for my daughter. I promise you, I am not dying today.

• Alura Zor-El : This is Selena's house. There must be a back way in.

  Kara Danvers : [pressing a panel on the façade]  Or a hidden way.
