  Kara Danvers : [cut to Argo]  But it's Kara. My mom and Mon-El are with me.

  Alura Zor-El : [cut back to the DEO]  We're stranded on Argo. Sam's in trouble, and we believe that Reign is still alive.

  Winn Schott : ALEX!

  Winn Schott : Seriously? You're not even gonna, like, ask...

  [Demos throws a punch, but his fist is deflected upon contact] 

  Winn Schott : [doing a taunting jig]  Eh? Huh? Eh?

  Demos : You know, that wasn't as satisfying as I'd imagined. And I've imagined it.

• Demos : What happened?

  Winn Schott : An omnidirectional, self-maintaining, subatomic personal shield. Boom.

  Demos : Cool. How does it work?

  Winn Schott : Oh. You know what, here. Check it.

  [he draws a diagram in a notebook] 

  Demos : That literally looks like nothing.

  Winn Schott : Dude, it's a frequency conversion capa... you know, don't worry about it. It's all good. Point is I invented it, and it's, like, the cornerstone of all the non-lethal tech that I'm creating for J'onn. Oh, it's like, uh... like a magnet for atoms.

  Demos : [high-fiving]  You're a genius.

  Winn Schott : Yeah, change the world, that's what I do. Oh! Check it.

  [he tosses Demos his own shield buckle] 

  Winn Schott : [ripping the page out of the notebook]  And you know what? This is top secret research.

• Alex Danvers : Okay, tell me what's going on.

  Alura Zor-El : Dark Kryptonians stole our ship and flew to Earth. It turns out the Harun-El we used to kill Reign and save Sam split them apart. But Reign is only dormant, not gone. The Dark Kryptonian witches want to resurrect her and use her to terraform the Earth, turning it into a new Krypton.

  Alex Danvers : Okay, tell me you have a plan.

  Alura Zor-El : Mon-El and I need to get back to Earth. Father has a transmat portal, but we need to make it work.

  Winn Schott : Transmat portal? Okay, I can help you set yours up, then we will get ours working, and then we can interface them, yes. And you are, Kara, right?

  Alex Danvers , Alura Zor-El : Yes!

  Winn Schott : I knew that. I knew that.

• Winn Schott : Okay. So, we should really be able to talk now.

  Mon-El : Yeah, I just need a few minutes to route the power from Argo's main grid.

  Winn Schott : Okay, do you see a multi-phase descrambler which links to a power source?

  Mon-El : Uh... yeah. Yeah, but the insulator is cracked. Which means as soon as we go through the portal, the circuits will fry, which makes it a one-way trip.

  Winn Schott : Well, hey, I mean, at least you don't really have any need to go back to Argo City. In fact, I'm surprised that you're still there. I thought you were gonna call the Legion and go straight back to the future.

  Mon-El : Uh... yeah. Yeah, I was. But then, uh, the time beacon broke, and Kara ran into some trouble, so I, uh, I decided to stay back to...

  Winn Schott : Mm-hmm. Always the hero.

  Mon-El : Yeah. I lost her once, Winn. I'm not sure I can do it again.

• Supergirl : [Demos is hit by three heat vision rays]  No!

  Winn Schott : No!

  Vita : She actually cares for these humans.

  Selena : One would have thought that the Girl of Steel would know that caring makes you weak. Give me the blood.

  Supergirl : You want the blood?

  [she glances at Alura, who gives a small nod] 

  Supergirl : You can have it.

  [she tosses then vials into the air and fires her heat vision at them] 

• Alex Danvers : If they're regular Kryptonians, we should be able to track them down.

  Alura Zor-El : They're protected by magic.

  Winn Schott : I will find them.

  Supergirl : Do you think we should call J'onn?

  Alex Danvers : No, he's with M'yrnn. I'll get him if the situation becomes dire.

• James Olsen : How you doing, man?

  Winn Schott : He trusted me. And I killed him.

  James Olsen : Kara told me that Demos got hit by three heat vision blasts at once. Nobody could have predicted that.

  Winn Schott : You know, for just a second, you-you really... really had me believing that I could change the world.

  James Olsen : Winn, just stop, okay? Look, a lot of people would have died today if it wasn't for your technology. I mean, I-I would've died a hundred times over if it wasn't for you.

  Winn Schott : Alex said that you were gonna go see the mayor? Get CatCo to put out the word that the city needs to stay safe.

  James Olsen : Yeah, but I came to see about you first.

• Winn Schott : 8.0 earthquake, tornadoes and superstorms over Madagascar? Tsunami warning? We got a hundred percent chance of, you guessed it, Reign.

  Supergirl : It's the terraforming.

  Mon-El : On Zune, they terraformed her planet's natural resources, so they'd go right throught the planet's core to create a genesis event.

  Supergirl : Destroy all life in order to be reborn.

  Mon-El : Exactly.

  Alex Danvers : Go through the Earth's core, and you get pretty close to Madagascar.

  Winn Schott : Okay, well, so that's what the witches are doing. Can I ask how long it took this genesis event to be completed?

  Mon-El : Hours.

  J'onn J'onzz : [entering]  I'm not gonna let that happen.

• Winn Schott : [alerted to a security breach]  Whoa, whoa. That... that's weird.

  [entering a secure room, he sees it's empty] 

  Winn Schott : Okay.

  [he turns and sees a hologram of Alura] 

  Winn Schott : Oh, god, no. No! Oh, you're creepy. AI malfunction. Okay. Be gone.

  [he taps on his tablet; the hologram vanishes, then re-appears] 

  Winn Schott : Whoa! Will you stop, please? You're... you're fully wigging me out.

  Alura Zor-El : Winn.

  Winn Schott : What?

  Alura Zor-El : Winn, it's Kara. I need your help.

  Winn Schott : Okay, not only are you now appearing at will, you are fully schizophrenic.

• Mon-El : It worked. Portal's on. Now just fire it up and bring us home.

  Winn Schott : All righty.

  [an alarm goes off] 

  Kara Danvers : Winn?

  [the portal turns off] 

  Kara Danvers : Winn, what happened?

  Alex Danvers : We got this.

  [leaving with Demos] 

  Alex Danvers : Come on.

  Winn Schott : You guys, I think the Dark Kryptonians are here.

• Winn Schott : Hello. Hello? Mon-El, can you hear me?

  Alura Zor-El : It's Kara's mother.

  Winn Schott : Listen, we have three Kryptonians that have just attacked us. We really need your daughter to come back, like, ASAP.

• Lena Luthor : I know why Sam's sick.

  [showing them her tablet] 

  Lena Luthor : Okay, these are Sam's blood cells, and these are Reign's. Sam's blood cells are getting weaker, while Reign's are getting stronger. They share a symbiotic, non-local entanglement. Reign and Sam are still connected. Reign's back and she's getting stronger by the minute.

  Supergirl : But I destroyed the Worldkillers' blood.

  Winn Schott : Demos gave his life to stop them.

  Lena Luthor : Well, I don't know how, but they have it.
