Slow, but necessary episodes that evolves everything

Greetings from Lithuania.

Last two episodes weren't as memorable as first three, but they still were solid. I love the setting of this series, music was great, acting was as solid, and writing and directing kept me engaged. And as for characters, Kelly Reilly's one is a mix bag - in this gritty world she is primadona and a over the top, and although i get the background of her actions, it is still over the top. But overall, i highly enjoy series so far.

In the closet

Warning: Spoilers
Beth Dutton climbing into the closet and screaming was masterful. You could feel the anguish. In that twenty or so seconds, I felt her entire life. That was superb acting.

Coming Home

The episode treads water as Jamie goes looking for his brother Kayce why is being interrogated by the tribal police.

Beth might think that Jamie is smarmy and whiny. Thomas Rainwater sees him as a long term threat.

Meanwhile once in the ranch, John Dutton wants his wayward son to stay there. He offers all sorts of inducements to both son and daughter in law, including taming a valuable horse.

It is very much a soap opera. Jamie and Beth fight again before she tells her brother just how bad she feels.

No wonder Dan Jenkins is wary of her.

Once again the dark side of the Dutton dynasty is exposed as another ex con gets branded as part of the initiation rights.

A true achievement

Kelly Reilly has done the impossible! We've seen numerous talentless actresses over the years. But she conquered a new frontier - 1D. She only has one dimension without any depth AT ALL. Watching her "act" is absolutely intolerable. Well done, lassie!

not realistic

If you grew up in montana you'd immediately realize this show is total crappola .. kevin no chin costner, michael nouri and kelly reilly team up to make a fake homestead movie about rural montana ..i met and worked with real ranchers throughout the state and most were congenial and helpful to a fault ... good neighbors make good friends .. i've also been to the blackfoot, rocky boy and crow reservations and never experienced animosity like in this film...bozeman is a college town where like most montana communities, they roll up the sidewalks at 9 pm ... when you arise at 4am to meet the day 9pm comes quickly... this is a total wet dream tv series by people that don't have a clue about life in montana and never will...

Coming Home

Warning: Spoilers
Easily the worst episode to date. This felt like an hour where nothing really happened.

I get that a lot of the show's appeal is going to be atmosphere, but we still need to get more than this. Way too uneventful.
