- Most of the time, enemies explode into a cloud of blood and gore when killed. There are special moves that players can do that shows close-ups of enemies swelling up and exploding, often resulting in decapitation.
- Cutscenes show some more intense instances of violence such as a man having his head split open by a hand saw, and a man having a hole blasted into his body by a gunshot.
- There is an option that lessens the level of bloodshed and darkens enemies before they explode, reducing gore.
