This first chapter of the series shows the beginning of a failed coup of state that turns into a civil war, despite the cry of ¡Viva la Republica! with the first actions of the high officials of the reserve of fascist sign supported in small groups of military leaders they manage to increase their followers as they expand their news from the 17 of July of 1936 and the following days, these sub-active facts to reach the power for their hardness scandalize the population. By eliminating the royal chiefs of the regions, collapsing the military regions forces the civilian population, who soon understands what happens as a subjugation of the power constituted in the ballot boxes to the yoke of a tyrant, during the first months the real information is confused with the misinformation, as well as the continuous exchanges of events of the front between the families themselves.
In this we see how a young man is separated from his home to have to bomb the enemy hidden in the famous Alcazar of Toledo, where the fascist refugees achieved fame for their tenacious resistance to their fascist ideals.
We also see how a simple peasant family when arriving in front of their village has to move to safer regions of the border region, where the conflict is passed between visits to the prison and the search for information from relatives on the other side. The events are unleashed until the end of the fight, her mother dies at the end and she ends up marrying a guard who had been in prison during the same fight.
