I'm all in favor of equal opportunity...but the haircut of kat Sandoval irritates me. Does it have to be so extreme? They're dealing with countries that already don't treat women as equals. I can't see how this woman makes it any better & i think her presence as a non gender is unbelievable as someone who can deal with the Middle East. I love the actress but I'm not impressed with the character.

I'm late to the party, in that I only started watching Madam Secretary this summer. I am pleasantly surprised at the talent in the show, both in front and behind the scenes. Tea Leoni has shown herself to be a multi-talented bright light in television and shines as a woman who achieves in both her personal life and career at a high level. I love the rapport she has with all of the players, especially with Tim Daly who is equally talented. She comes into your home as a friend that you can admire and relate to unlike so many of the silly shows on television. The show has many recognizable guest stars, especially Morgan Freeman and Eric Stoltz , who both direct many episodes.
