The dialog refers to VX as a "biological agent/weapon", but it is in fact a nerve agent, and therefore a chemical weapon.
After Chris is exposed to the VX toxin, she is shown with reddened skin and severe blistering on her face. VX is trans-dermal, and can be absorbed through the skin. It is not, however, caustic and does not cause burns as depicted. At most, she would have had watering eyes and runny nose.
