Tough one!
gabriel-8018 December 2018
One of the toughest episodes in Ray Donovan's history. I had a knot in my stomach throughout the episode, as Ray is on a downward spiral like never before. This series is so well written, so well acted, so well directed that it deserves every award possible. I hope it continues for at least another season.

Great season so far

Greetings from Lithuania.

Dark and desperate. These were the thoughts about "Ray Donovan" when watching this episode. Its been a long time, or maybe even never when this show went that dark. All of our main character have reached they lowest points, and they are lonely, especially Ray.

What makes this season great is also a great story and location. The change of location did good for this show. Overall, with 4 episode left i'm very hooked and excited for this show like i wasn't in some time now (previous season - i'm looking at you). This is a terrific season so far.

More plot holes than gruyere

You wish than even Mr. Laconic Donovan would understand the need to explain the situation to Sam BEFORE he reverted his stunt.

Instead he undo everything and then he tries to explain why, to the woman who asked him to kill a bothersome guy.

Sam is dangerous, but Ray behaves like a total idiot, trying to push his way to her after he's been beaten to a pulp (for the billionth time) and told to buzz off in no unclear terms, and even then, without giving a clear explanation. "Just trust me Sam, I'll fix it"... We get it, Ray doesn't like to speak, but how stupid is this kind of behaviour?

And Bridget with her rant? She should have been way drunker. Bunch is so pathetically insufferable and the whole Sandy plot is totally meaningless.
