Creepy
Having seen this episode you have to question whether certain fanatics aren't so opposed to the concept that they're the ones recruiting others to bring the overall ratings down by punishing the series as a whole without having actually watched any episodes. I can imagine a certain group having an issue with it, though in space and war, all's fair.
How else can you explain the high user ratings on each episode yet so average overall?
Whether the above scenario is a possibility or it's other factors, it appears that those watching it are enjoying it immensely. It's a high quality production in many areas.
This particular episode gives rise to a plot used in other sci fi shows and books (excuse the pun). X Files comes to mind. (Another pun). Yet what's wrong with that? Hollywood churns out sequels and remakes like convey belt chocolate and get away with it. This at least feels fresh while its happening.
Thoroughly creepy and left me walking a little gingerly afterwards.
I do hope the haters don't prevent a Season 2.
Top marks to Andrew McCarthy for his involvement in the show and this episode as director.
