Refreshing, clever, funny

I just stumbled across this series by accident and oh boy am I glad I did. Blark & Son glued me to the screen and I watched the entires season (which was much too short) TWICE.

The puppets give the show a bizarre but charming touch and the voice performances are top notch. The characters are well written and charming and are full of energy. When you are reciting sentences from the show in your head the whole day, you know they hit the mark.

If you are into crazy comedy, weird characters and situations and the right amount of heart, this series is for you.

I love you Son.....

A zany little outlook on single parent family life using puppets.

As a father raising a teen boy alone I find this show effing hilarious.... I can relate to Blark and I can also relate to Son. The fact this show is played out using puppets is even more amusing. The simplicity that they use for the show is brilliant. (Watch the behind the scenes footage on the youtubes and you'll understand) The puppets used kinda remind me of the superb English satire show 'Spitting Image'.... Ah, brings back memories..... I could definitely watch more of this show.

A great show

A show where it does not need swear words to actually be funny. The creators have done an amazing job both at the story and the looks.

The story is relatable (sometimes) and all the characters are unique in their own way and characteristics. Plus, you can notice small little details in the background, which proves how much the creators care for the show (for example Son's rules always change, above Blark's bed there is a purple heart e.t.c) The looks now. They are unique, literally. A great reason why the show is so special, is the muppets used. Uncanny, some would call, but it grows onto you.

I highly recommend this show to everyone above the 14, and even afults.

Blark and Son is an 'Adult Swim' style comedy that has not found a big enough reach to get the audience it deserves.

Hidden Gem

Starts off like any another weird but hilarious adult program. But has darker tones subtly planted throughout that lead to great character moments.

It's not anything earth shattering. Just a great comedy series with a short run time. The voice acting is top notch, specifically Blark, and Junior.

Overall very satisfied with the show I found by accident thanks to YouTube's Algorithm.

Clever writing makes the show, its not life changing but it takes you into relatable situations and pops you out the other side leaving you satisfied and entertained, other times its just funny and gross, but that's ok.

It's what a meth fueled show would look like

Didn't find it funny, found the art style to be more reminiscent of me meaty. I personally think this show is just ass, if you ever wanted to know what a meth, cocaine, pcp, and heroine fueled craze would look like this would probably be it. Add that on top of its mediocre comedy at best the show is basically the perfect mixture for late night wake up mid nightmare to see that and think you're still in one. Comedy isn't a hard topic to master, neither is art style. If you wanted to make it funny you either combine kids cartoon style with adult comedy or unique style with adult comedy, he'll look at happy tree friends, it's gory but at first glance it looks like a children's show. That is something to watch not this.
