Just so the reader knows- I've watched at least the first 13-14 seasons of the simpsons so many times, I've lost count, and I've managed to catch up to the current thanks to xfinity on demand. I don't say something about the show without meaning it/posting as a mindless fan willing to watch/consume anything with the name on it. This episode may not go down as the best of all time, but it certainly proves that the writers are very aware of their surroundings and how much streaming services all but control our actions. I commend this episode for its approach. It has dual plots (which, frankly I wish were more often used), and neither one outweighs the other. It has social commentary, but doesn't pick apart one thing or another/feel like a preachy commercial. It even has a few moments that are so subtle and quick, fans of the overall tone/humor of the show, will enjoy them. I don't want to spoil the plot or where it ends up, but I will say this: even after 30 years, The Simpsons writers manage to convey emotion and sincerity that you can feel in this episode. Don't believe me? Just watch it. It's less than 30 minutes in a time when 1 hour shows seem to make up major airtime.

Great Valentine Episode

Wow, they really it up all the way with this valentine special. This episode was a spectacular set up of homer winning marge by trying his best, like how he did it in What Animated Women Want. In this one he tries learning how to dance and the best part about it is end happily for both without pointless jokes to botch it up. just a happy ending to a happy couple. a must see for fans
The writers still got it

Like most people, i thought the simpsons has gone downhill for many season, but this expisode was simply astonishing, shows that the same writers behind "And Maggie makes three" still have passion and great execution up their sleves, Not a funny episode, but one that fit the atmosphere just right, a must see for fans
Really?

Warning: Spoilers
Seriously.. are they getting paid for this?
The whole premise of this episode was Homer watching a rip off of Stranger Things without Marge. Yes, you heard that right... Homer watches something on Netflix without Marge... wow big woop. This is the same show that had Mr Burns block out the sun. Their ideas really are getting tired now.
So apparently Marge is infuriated by this, and goes all passive-aggressive on Homer, and he spends the episode trying to reconcile her. This is basically the episode summed up.
The B-story is completely pointless and not entertaining. Spare yourself from watching this train-wreck.
