Its a great plot for a more higher budgeted film.

Bad acting with some scenes made it laughable.

All in all it was enjoyable but wishin it was a more serious higher budgeted film.

The ending needs a bit (maybe alot lol) of tweaking but not bad.

Frankly I am being too nice about this rating by giving it 3 stars it really deserves 1 or -10 but let's talk about "Just Another Dream". First off the FX and Camera quality gives off that 2008-2015 cheap fast Android phase that Lifetime Network Went through and sometimes still does. This definitely is no excuse for even the cheapest Television Film in axis channel. Aside from that the acting is ridiculous because we are dealing with Youth in Film Award winning And Grace Award Nominee Kristy Swanson who really needs to fire her agent because these movie deals lately are horrible not to mentioned it seems the only time she gives her best performance is in a Hallmark Movie or PrimeTime series guest spot. That being said the acting seems forced and not enough dialogue editing due to a terrible script and bad direction because even Dean Cain who literally played Superman should know better. Aside from that this movie had terrible editing all around and the plot was not thoroughly thought out. It has Premonition and Danika written all over it with subtle jabs at Poltergeist which brings us back to question of why these actors would agree to this project. Bottom line do not waste your time.

I had a bad feeling as I watched the opening credits.... And I wasn't disappointed... This movie met my expectations: bad dialogue, horrible score, and unconvincing acting.

I'm sure someone will like this but it's just too bad to watch. I just didn't care about anyone in this movie.

I caught this on Amazon prime but I assume it was made for lifetime or Hallmark... Or some other cable channel.

First off- Who decided on lighting or cinematography? Was the viewer suppose to feel in a dream state for most of the movie,by the color tones & camera focus.

Second- Clichéd with the Native American who is a janitor,but has all the valuable insight.

Third- Was cast with a few decent actors,but was overshadowed with a bad script & other issues.

Fourth- This topic of premonitions,has been done & way better.

Fifth- Apparently instead of sending the daughter to her family doctor,even a counselor they decide on inpatient care.. Wow!

Far as,viewing this movie- Will pass time on a boring day,but not for much else.

Kristy Swanson and Dean Cain star in this film. I feel like they did it because they needed the money. The acting was very poor and the storyline, could have been interesting but wasn't. A young girl has premonitions in the form of dreams and when she tells her parents about them, she is placed in a mental institution for "treatment". Not very well written and the dialogue is beyond cheesy.

It's not the WORST acting, but the dialogue is stilted, the FX are basically a decade old, and the plot is.....a little muddled.

I wanted to like it, and I can see an effort was made. Props to the main actress she did pretty well with what she had.

The acting is so bad, it reminds me of a middle school play. Nothing was fluid and it all felt forced. The cgi was horrible, the train scene was exceptionally fake and the baby is the car seat omg! Sadly the plot and story of this movie was great and if it had an actual studio budget it probably would be a great movie.

An absolute low budget B movie made for the 2am slot on T. V. Poor acting, stupid storyline, a waste of time.

This really could have been a fantastic movie.

Great screenplay, very well written.

However the production was terrible and the actors were like they were still in acting school.

I dunno what Paul Schneider was thinking when he directed this film, but he sure wasn't trying for an Oscar.

A young girl is hit by a baseball and afterward gains the ability to foresee the future. Of course, no one believes her. Okay up to that point.

Beyond that, aside from the poor directing (which resulted in hammy acting), the story begins to land beyond the point of sensible half-way through, and then slides completely down that slope as it gets closer to the ending. The last ten minutes or so it completely jumps the shark and loses all concept of reason.

It's been done before, and far better. No redeeming factors.

If you don't go into this one expecting a huge budget, Hollywood film, you will be thoroughly entertained by this original concept. The film starts a bit slow, but all the pieces come into place for a satisfying ending. You will see familiar faces (Dean Cain and Kristy Swanson) as leads as well as screen newcomers with a lot of promise (the teens who play the main character Anna and her friend Josh). The supporting cast is strong enough not to distract from the story. I'm really glad I gave this indie film a chance.

Ummm im thankful i watched at 2x speed. The graphics were so bad , how ever the ending of the movie was nice and cute but it got me confused. I wouldn't recommend it to teens.

Very well acted, but average plot for the first 80 minutes. And it's all white actors, except for one person, who plays a very stereotypical role. The last 10 minutes tries to make the movie into something special. But it left me confused, trying to figure out what just happened. We need more movies whose plot can stand on it's own, without the need for surprise endings.

One of the cheapest and saddest films ever made. Its budget must have been less then a hundred dollars. The only actors they could find are washed up actors from like 30 years ago that no one care about.

It's got low budget all over it. Acting is rather mediocre. Gave up 30 mins into the movie. What am I missing!

It is very nice to see that there are such creative people out there that do not rely on all formulas to make a movie yes Virginia there is still creativity out there watch this movie and we will not be disappointed a great investment of time.

You know, if I'd been told that this film had been created by high school students, I might have been impressed, and thought they'd done a pretty good job. Sadly, it wasn't made by children, and it's just so horribly awful that it could become a cult classic. Where do I start? I'm not sure why Dean Cain was involved; he's at that sad, dinner theater stage of a dying career. He looked so old and fat and downright sad that I got depressed. The special effects, which again, had they been done by high school students might have impressed - they were so bad that we were howling in laughter and disbelief. Likewise the acting was absurdly wooden. Any of these reviews here that are in any way positive about this lurching buzzards of a film are just here to game and balance out all of the negative ratings. This film has no great message and its not something for the whole family. Its about a moody teen girl who is so petulant and bitchy that her parents are forced to put her in a mental hospital. She is likely moody because her boyfriend is prettier than she is, and will eventually desert her for another pretty boy. Her wacky delusions about seeing the future in her dreams is just a device to avoid babysitting. We did spend most of the film laughing, true, but its no comedy, and so bad I created this account just to record what is perhaps the worst non-porn film I've ever seen.

Made for tv movie so didnt expect much.

Wow, absolutely shocking! I unfortunately do not watch trailers all the way through so only saw the first few seconds and thought, what a good plot! Well lesson learnt, I will from now on watch all the way. So I have to say that the story line is really good, the ending well goes a bit wonky but hey, at that stage you're kind of don't care anymore and just want the movie to stop. Probably 15 minutes in, my husband asked me if this was a dubbed movie and I had to look really hard. The acting is the worse I have ever seen and I do not care if it was a tiny budget surely there was a director somewhere?! I did laugh very loud a couple of times through as, well, it was just that bad. So please if you have like nothing else to watch, turn off your TV and take a walk, even if it's raining...it will be better than watching this movie!

This movie covered a range on genres and my family enjoyed different elements of it. My wife and I appreciated that it was family friendly but didn't feel like a kids movie if that makes sense. My son thought the ending was pretty cool and unexpected and my tween daughter was absolutely in love with the boy who played Josh. She wants to watch it again for that purpose alone. 8/10 stars.

Corny beginning and a confusing ending but it's got some good things. Is having a premonition worthy of sending someone to a mental institution? Not sure. I kinda liked it as a break from all the big budget blockbusters.

Kudos to all that were involved in this project. From having some big names to filming in so many locations, its hard to believe this is an indy film! For not being a "kids" film, its really great for the whole family.
