The movie followed the cliche formula it hollywood has used for years and for some reason believes still works well. Terror scene & discovery scene, cheesy recruitment of main star, challenge after challenge due to ineptness or overestimating the creature. Maybe would've been decent if acting or the script had been remotely entertaining, but instead made even a brainless movie hard to watch.
