-
Amanda Rollins : Oh, my feet have not hurt this bad since I waited tables.
Olivia Benson : I had no idea. When did you wait tables?
Amanda Rollins : Oh, I was sixteen. Aunt Betty's Cabin. Best chicken-fried steak you've ever had. You know, truth be told, none of this culinary grab-ass surprises me.
Olivia Benson : You were assaulted.
Amanda Rollins : Well, one of my regulars wanted a little extra sugar with his coffee. Instead he ended up with a raw steak on his eye.
Olivia Benson : Good for you.
-
Dominick Carisi Jr. : We checked Boykin's phone, and he was talking to his wife until the ride ended.
Olivia Benson : Okay, what about his Uber app?
Odafin Tutuola : She got picked up at 3:39 a.m. in front of 300 Orchard Street.
Amanda Rollins : [running a search] Which is a restaurant on the Lower East Side. Far Rockaway by Andrew.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Yeah, it's a high-end seafood joint. I actually took a date there once. Set me back a couple hundred bucks, but...
Amanda Rollins : Was it worth it?
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Every cent.
Olivia Benson : Okay, so cut Boykin loose and check it out.
-
Noah : What are these black things?
Olivia Benson : They're olives.
Noah : Yuck.
Olivia Benson : Okay, you can push 'em aside. But Noah, remember, we talked about this. Remember we talked about it being time for you to start trying and eating new things?
Noah : I want pizza.
Olivia Benson : Okay, well, maybe tomorrow night. But for now, how 'bout we eat tonight's dinner? Try it. You're gonna like 'em. They're great.
[he tastes one and spits it out in disgust]
Olivia Benson : Hey! Noah.
Noah : I want pizza!
-
Kayla Morgan : Look, I already told the other detectives, I don't remember much about what happened.
Olivia Benson : Did the Uber driver try something?
Kayla Morgan : No, I... I don't think so.
Amanda Rollins : Patrol said that he was on top of you when they arrived, that you were fighting him off.
Kayla Morgan : I'm sorry. I guess I passed out in the back of his car, okay? He startled me. Do I need a lawyer?
Amanda Rollins : Don't worry about that right now.
Olivia Benson : Detective Rollins and I are worried about you, Kayla. Do you remember what happened before you got into the Uber?
Kayla Morgan : Not really. I just wanna go home.
-
Kayla Morgan : Look, I'm not a victim.
Olivia Benson : I think maybe you were, Kayla.
Kayla Morgan : The Uber guy didn't do anything, okay?
Olivia Benson : Well, somebody did
Kayla Morgan : Is he pressing charges?
Olivia Benson : I don't think so.
Kayla Morgan : Okay, great. So, I'm leaving.
-
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Andrew Liebowitz, stand up. Put your hands behind your back.
Andrew Liebowitz : Whoa, what's wrong with you? I'm still out on bail.
Peter Stone : Yeah, not anymore.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Yeah, your pal here was wearing a wire.
Andrew Liebowitz : You son of a bitch.
Olivia Benson : Well, you're next, counselor.
ADA Hodges : Well, you believe that scumbag?
Olivia Benson : I believe Bethany. Your little rape partner corroborated her.
Andrew Liebowitz : Don't you dare come near me. Don't you dare touch me.
Odafin Tutuola : I'm gonna do more than that if you don't put your hands behind your back.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Separate cars?
Odafin Tutuola : Yeah, that's a good idea.

[last lines]
Amanda Rollins : Kayla.
Olivia Benson : Hey. I tried to call you. The new sex crimes prosecutor in Brooklyn is re-opening all the old cases against Liebowitz.
Kayla Morgan : [surprised chuckle] Wow.
[handing Benson a doggy bag]
Kayla Morgan : Um, I brought you this. It's a thank you. Ossobuco. It's the house specialty at Prospero, where I'm newly employed.
Amanda Rollins : That's great, Kayla.
Olivia Benson : Congratulations.
Kayla Morgan : So, um, when does Andrew get out of prison?
Olivia Benson : If the new prosecutor's any good, he won't.
-
Olivia Benson : I cannot believe that Hodges of all people didn't move forward with these charges. Read this.
Peter Stone : He's convinced all three cases are losers.
Olivia Benson : There are no perfect witnesses. That goes with the territory.
Peter Stone : Fin and Carisi tell me he's strong on women's issues.
Olivia Benson : Well, he made a name for himself busting a Russian sex trafficking ring. They even tried to kill him. But a garden variety prosecution of Liebowitz? This is a no-brainer.
Peter Stone : Until you get an acquittal. And that's all people remember.
-
Peter Stone : To have any chance at trial, I have to convince Kayla to testify.
Olivia Benson : No arm twisting, Peter.
Peter Stone : Oh, don't worry. I've been watching someone who's pretty damn good at this.
-
Peter Stone : There's no way Kayla's going to go this alone now.
Olivia Benson : So, can you appeal?
Peter Stone : The appellate division justices would laugh in my face.
Olivia Benson : So we're dead in the water.
Peter Stone : I'm afraid so.
-
Olivia Benson : Look, I understand why Kayla won't go toe to toe with the man who raped her, but Chris Hodges? Chris Hodges is the go-to prosecutor for Brooklyn SVU.
Peter Stone : Look, there were some problems with those disclosures.
Olivia Benson : But with all three of them? There's gotta be more to it.
Peter Stone : Some prosecutors talk a good game. But the bottom line is whether they win or lose.
Olivia Benson : But not Chris Hodges. That's not his reputation. Peter, maybe... maybe you need to dig a little deeper.
Peter Stone : Olivia, I...
Olivia Benson : I'm telling you, something's not right here.
-
ADA Hodges : If that thing back in high school comes up...
Andrew Liebowitz : What thing?
ADA Hodges : At that party. Bethany something.
Andrew Liebowitz : Oh, you mean the girl who wouldn't let you screw her?
ADA Hodges : Emily's friend. The girl you practically raped.
Andrew Liebowitz : That was you, man.
ADA Hodges : No, no, no, no, no, no, no. At the fancy townhouse.
Andrew Liebowitz : Yeah, we got her drunk on tequila shots, and you tried to rip her pants off.
ADA Hodges : What are you talking about? I had to pull you off of her.
Andrew Liebowitz : No, bro, you were the one who was into that girl.
ADA Hodges : What are you, crazy?
Andrew Liebowitz : You're thinking of some other girl we did at some other party.
ADA Hodges : My god. You're out of your mind.
Peter Stone : [eavesdropping] Now we have Hodges.
Olivia Benson : Yeah, and guess what? Mr. Me Too is a serial predator. Okay, guys, go. Two collars. Go.
-
Kayla Morgan : I'm sorry, I just... this is a waste of everybody's time.
Olivia Benson : I know that this is difficult, and we're almost done, I promise, but if you could just give me one more minute.
Amanda Rollins : You remember how your shirt got ripped?
Kayla Morgan : I had a lot to drink.
Olivia Benson : Where?
Kayla Morgan : I don't know. It's fuzzy.
Amanda Rollins : And that is completely normal. Victims don't remember all the details of their assault.
-
Bethany Fisher : I was fifteen. This girl was having a party because her parents were away. She invited some kids she knew from Far Rockaway.
Olivia Benson : So, what happened at this party?
Bethany Fisher : There were ten or twelve of us. One of the boys brought tequila. I remember winding up in one of the bedrooms with Chris and one of his friends.
Olivia Benson : Andrew Liebowitz? The other man on the front page?
Bethany Fisher : Could be. I don't remember his name. I can't say for sure.
-
Bethany Fisher : Chris pushed me to the floor and got on top of me.
Olivia Benson : Bethany, I know how hard this is re-live, so... just... just take your time, okay?
Bethany Fisher : He pinned me down. Put his hand down my shorts. And the other boy, he was saying things to him.
Olivia Benson : Like what kind of things?
Bethany Fisher : Like a cheerleader. "Go for it, dude." Things like that. And I was screaming "No, no, get off me." But he covered my mouth. Chris pulled down my shorts with his other hand. The other boy came over I think maybe to give him a condom. And that's when I pushed him off me and ran out of the room.
Olivia Benson : And this was the first time that you had met Chris?
Bethany Fisher : No, I met him before. I definitely knew his name. And when I read the article today and saw his picture...
Olivia Benson : Okay. And after this happened to you, Bethany, did you tell anyone?
Bethany Fisher : When I got home, I couldn't think straight. My dad was strict. If he knew I was drinking with older boys... my therapist knows.
Olivia Benson : Okay.
Bethany Fisher : I've been seeing her for years. She said I should tell my husband, so I finally did last year.
Olivia Benson : And after all this happened, did you confide in anyone?
Bethany Fisher : No. But my friend Emily was at the party. When I got out of that bedroom, I made her leave with me. She could see I was really upset.
-
ADA Hodges : I'm done with your Andrew Liebowitz problem.
Olivia Benson : Yeah, well, that's not what this is about.
ADA Hodges : Then you'd better have a damn good reason for insisting I come up here.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : You better consider yourself lucky we didn't perp walk you out of your own office.
ADA Hodges : Perp walk? What the hell are you talking about?
Olivia Benson : The girl that you tried to rape in high school.
ADA Hodges : Excuse me?
Olivia Benson : Bethany Fisher?
ADA Hodges : Who?
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Bethany Fisher. She was friends with Emily Holmes. That's a girl you went to high school with.
ADA Hodges : Yeah, I remember Emily. This Bethany person, I have no i... dea...
Olivia Benson : No idea?
ADA Hodges : Is this about a house party, like, fifteen years ago?
Dominick Carisi Jr. : You see? It's all coming back to you now, right?
ADA Hodges : No, but I know one thing for sure. I didn't touch that girl. That was Andrew.
Olivia Benson : Ah, that was fast.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : But you were there. You were in that bedroom, weren't you?
-
ADA Hodges : We were listening to music.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Mm-hmm.
ADA Hodges : And Andrew jumped on top of her and tried to take her clothes off.
Olivia Benson : And you just stood there and did nothing?
ADA Hodges : What are you talking about? I pushed him off her. If it wasn't for me, God knows...
Dominick Carisi Jr. : "If it wasn't for me." Would you spare us the self-righteous crap? We got two witnesses that say it was you.
ADA Hodges : Well, they've got it mixed up. I've never done anything like that, ever.
Dominick Carisi Jr. : Ever? So best-case scenario, you just kept your damn mouth shut and you covered your friend's ass?
ADA Hodges : Did you ever go to high school? That's the code. You have your friend's back. That's the way the world works.
Olivia Benson : Not anymore.
ADA Hodges : Yeah, and guess what? I'm part of the reason things are different now.
Olivia Benson : Or Bethany is telling the truth and you're not only the world's biggest hypocrite, but you're also a rapist.
ADA Hodges : That's laughable. Andrew's been making moves like this since he was old enough to shave.
Olivia Benson : Well...
ADA Hodges : Are you charging me?
Olivia Benson : That remains to be seen. But if you are telling the truth, then you had a chance to stand up for Bethany when you were seventeen years old. So one way or the other, you're gonna make this right.
