    Burg : Someone tell me why we even need a Mandalorian?

    Mayfeld : Well, apparently they're the greatest warriors in the galaxy. So they say.

    Burg : Then why are they all dead?

  • Mayfeld : Z, you sure they can't see us?

    Zero : The Razor Crest is scrambling our signature and I am inside the prison system. It's impressive this gunship has survived the Empire without being impounded.

  • Qin : Mayfeld, you're gonna get me the hell off this ship.

    Mayfeld : Hey, wait. What about your sister?

    Qin : [Shrugs]  What about her?

    Mayfeld : Nice family.

  • Ranzar Malk : We were all young, tryin' to make a name for ourselves. But runnin' with a Mandalorian, that brought us some reputation

    Mayfeld : Oh, yeah? What did he get out of it?

    Ranzar Malk : I asked him that one time. You remember what you said, Mando? Target Practice

  • Mayfeld : Well, you flew with him, Xi'an? Is he as good as they say?

    Xi'an : Ask him about the job on Alzoc III.

    The Mandalorian : I did what I had to.

    Xi'an : Oh, but you like it. See, I know who you really are.

  • Mayfeld : The good-lookin' fellow there with the horns, that's Burg. This may surprise you, but he's our muscle.

    Burg : [Walks up to Mando]  So, this is a Mandalorian. I thought they'd be bigger.

  • Mayfeld : So, the package is being moved on a fortified transport ship. Now, we got a limited window to board, find our friend, get him out of there before they make their jump.

    The Mandalorian : That's a New Republic prison ship. Your man wasn't taken by a rival syndicate. He was arrested.

    Mayfeld : So what?

    Ranzar Malk : A job is a job.

    The Mandalorian : That's a max security transport, and I'm not looking for that kind of heat.

    Ranzar Malk : Well, neither are we. So just don't mess up.

    Xi'an : The good news for you is the ship is manned by droids. Still hate the machines, Mando?

  • Mayfeld : [finds the Child in a compartment]  Whoa! What is that? You get lonely up here, buddy? Huh? Wait a minute. Did you too make that? Huh? What is it, like a pet or somethin'?

    The Mandalorian : Yeah. Something like that.

    Xi'an : Didn't take you for the type. Maybe that code of yours has made you soft.

    Mayfeld : Me, I was never into pets. Yeah, I didn't have the temperament. Patience, you know? I mean, I tried, but never worked out. But I'm thinkin' maybe I'll try again

    [picks up The Child] 

    Mayfeld : with this little fella.

  • Mayfeld : Razor Crest? I can't believe that thing can fly. Looks like a Canto Bight slot machine.

  • Mayfeld : [after Mando takes down a group of droids with surprising efficiency]  Make sure you clean up your mess.

  • Xi'an : [giving Mando's armor a once-over]  This is shiny. You wear it well.

    Mayfeld : Do we need to leave the room or something?

  • Zero : [coming off the Razor Crest]  Despite recent modifications, the ship is still quite a mess. The power lines are leaking, the navigation is intermittent, and the hyperdrive is only operating at 67.3% efficiency. We have much better ships. Why are we using this one?

    Ranzar Malk : 'Cause the Razor Crest is off the old Imperial and the New Republic grid. It's a ghost.

    Mayfeld : Yeah, and we need a ship that can get close enough to jam New Republic code. So, when we drop out of hyperspace here, if we immediately bank into this kinda attitude, we should be right in their blind spot, which will give us just enough time for your ship to scramble our signal.

    The Mandalorian : It's not possible. Even for the Crest.

    Ranzar Malk : [indicating Zero]  That's why he's flyin'. Mando, I know you're a pretty good pilot, but we need you on the trigger. Not on the wheel.

    Zero : Don't worry, Mandalorian. My response time is quicker than organics. And I'm smarter, too.

    Ranzar Malk : All right. I... yeah. That's good. Forgive the programming. He's a little rough around the edges. But he is the best.

    The Mandalorian : How can you trust it?

    Ranzar Malk : You know me, man. I don't trust anybody.

  • Burg : What is that thing?

    The Mandalorian : It's a tracking beacon.

    Mayfeld : If he presses that thing, we're all done. A New Republic attack team will hone in on that signal and blow us all to hell. Put it down!

    Xi'an : Are you serious?

    Mayfeld : Yes, I'm serious.

    Xi'an : You didn't think we needed to know that tiny little detail?

    Mayfeld : I didn't think we'd get to this point.

    Xi'an : Yet here we are.

  • The Mandalorian : What's your name?

    New Republic Soldier : D... it's Davan.

    The Mandalorian : Davan. We're not here for you. We're here for a prisoner. If you let us go about our job, you can walk away with your life.

    Mayfeld : [raising his blaster]  No, he won't.

    New Republic Soldier : [nervously raising his own]  Hey.

    The Mandalorian : [pointing his at Mayfeld]  You realize what you're gonna bring down on us?

    Mayfeld : You think I care about that?

    The Mandalorian : We're not killing anybody, you understand?

    Mayfeld : Get that blaster out of my face, Mando.

    The Mandalorian : I can't do that.

    Mayfeld : Get that blaster out of my face, Mando!

    The Mandalorian : [as Burg raises his blaster, he aims his flamethrower]  Don't.

    Xi'an : [throwing her dagger into Davan]  Would you both just shut up?

    Mayfeld : Crazy Twi. I had it under control.

  • Qin : [planning to kill Mando]  Whatever Ran promised, I'll see to it you get triple share. Just get him.

    Mayfeld : You better be good for it.

  • The Mandalorian : I don't like this.

    Xi'an : You always were paranoid.

    Mayfeld : Is that true, Mando? Were you always paranoid?

    [he jumps as a prisoner bangs on its cell door]
