Hawaii 5-0 meets Stranger Things!

Loved this episode! This season has been a quality rollercoaster but this episode showed everything I love about H5O.

Jerry said himself about Stranger Things and there were a lot of influences. Glad to see a real case being worked as well rather than the incessant "Banter" between Steve and Danny.

Love little Jerry

I quite like the whole flash back with little Jerry and him witnessing some horrible event in the wood. I find the sequence kind of thrilling but lessen by the fact that we know nothing bad could happen to 10 years old Jerry because he's very much alive now. Also opening by "don't fear the reaper" was a big plus for me. I loved seeing his first investigation coming to an end even if I find it weird that Jerry never scan the ground with the scanning tech before. With his personnality, he should have done it like 20 years ago instead of just digging around. I find Jerry's quest quite touching when he talks about being the only one looking for the victim or when he confronts his friends about not believe him. The other 5-0 plot was OK and classic.

Third Time this Season

This is the third episode this season, that is absolutely HORRIBLE. Seems like the writers of this show can't come up with anything decent.

I guess this may be the last season for Hawaii Five O. Really Sad!

HORROR-able

This was supposed to be another retro episode that turns back yet another clock some 30 years ago when Jerry Ortega (Jorge Garcia) was a young man in the woods enjoying an open campfire with his friends when he believes he witnesses a murder taking place. So each year Jerry and his friends go back to that exact campsite to do a bit more digging to see if they can find the missing body and solve a murder that has givin Jerry nightmares for the past 30 years.

The truth of the matter is that like many little trick or treaters that come to our own door each Halloween a few costumes stand out but many are cheap imitations. Trust me when I say that this Halloween episode is a cheap one that disguises itself as a mystery but it is nothing more than a sour apple.

Remake!

I feel like I'm watching a remake of Goonies. That's not a good thing. I've been binge-watching this series and the longer it goes, the more weird it gets.
