Loughlin, 59, has appeared on the cover of the latest issue of First for Women and, in the accompanying article, she discussed her life in 2024 without directly addressing the scandal.

The Chicago Fire cast has revealed a new actress joining the show for Season 12.
Presumably, this new person could wind up as the partner to Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith).
Losing Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) has been difficult for Firehouse 51. Her replacement was shoehorned into the firehouse by the new paramedic chief.
It turned out that Chief Robinson was trying to send a message to the firehouse and Chief Boden and that she wanted to replace the “old guard” in Chicago.
Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh) surfaced as Violet’s new partner and frequently questioned her medical choices in the field.
The situation between Lennox and Violet escalated to the point where he reported her as being “aggressive” and “disrespectful” on the job.
When Boden pushed Lennox out of the firehouse, Robinson showed up to give him a piece of her mind. And now it means a new paramedic for Firehouse 51 again.

[This story contains spoilers from the sixth episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12.]
Curb Your Enthusiasm is known for inviting guest actors onto the HBO improv comedy series to play versions of themselves and go toe-to-toe with Larry David’s onscreen persona.
The latest actress to do so was Lori Loughlin, who came on the sixth episode of the 12th and final season to confront her post-college admissions scandal reputation in Hollywood. The setup was that Loughlin, who loves to play golf, was being black-balled from L.A. country clubs due to her role in the 2019 scandal. (Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli were among the high-profile parents charged with paying fixers to get their children into top U.S. universities, nicknamed Operation Varsity Blues by the FBI.)
So Loughlin needs a sponsor, and who better than Larry — someone who has gotten so many second chances himself? “You know I’m a champion of the underdog,” he says.

When Calls the Heart Season 11 is coming to Hallmark Channel in April. The new season of the family-friendly period drama will pick up after the dramatic conclusion of season 10 and looks like it will focus on a new romance between Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry).

Could any of them ever get their own show? A Hallmark Channel exec recently weighed in on the possibility.

What a difference a few years makes.
At one point, it seemed like Lori Loughlin wouldn't ever be on a Hallmark project again after the cabler cut ties with the actress amid the college admissions scandal.
At the time, she was edited out of episodes of When Calls the Heart that were about to air and lost her role in the Garage Sale Mysteries movies, including completed but unaired mysteries.
As you'll recall, Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli both pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges for securing admission to the University of Southern California for their two daughters.
The Full House alum served two months in jail and was ordered to pay a $150,000 fine and complete 150 hours of community service.
Mossimo served five months, paid a $250,000 fine, and was ordered to complete 250 hours of community service.

John Stamos is speaking about the moment he learned about the infamous college admissions scandal.
In his memoir, If You Would Have Told Me, the actor speaks about the moment he heard of the scandal and how Lori Loughlin, his Full House costar, was involved.
"Lori Loughlin continues to be a cherished friend to this day," John wrote, adding:
"We've weathered storms together and stood by each other's sides despite life's hurdles. We've seen each other at our worst."
Stamos recalled reaching out to Loughlin as the scandal broke, with the Aunt Becky star saying her phone may have been bugged.
"No matter how hard she was hit, how desperate everyone was to cancel her and throw her in with the pile of brutal criminals," John added.
"She stood fast, protecting her daughters from the mud hurled at them day after day after day."
Stamos added his thanks for having such a lifelong friendship.

Before leaping to Lori Loughlin’s defense, John Stamos in his new memoir (order it here) reveals that he was on the phone with his Full House costar as the infamous college admissions imbroglio became national news.
In March 2019, TV’s Aunt Becky was implicated in Operation Varsity Blues, eventually resulting in a two-month prison sentence, a $150,000 fine and 100 hours of mandated community service. In If You Would Have Told Me, her former TV hubby says that he first was made aware of the scandal when he received a text from former Blind Date host (and “good friend”) Roger Lodge asking if Loughlin was “okay.

Hallmark Channel has yet to reveal its 2023 Countdown to Christmas lineup. But we do know that the annual holiday programming extravaganza won’t include a When Calls the Heart Christmas special. While Christmas-centric episodes of the feel-good network’s flagship drama have aired in the past, fans won’t see one this year, executive producer Brian Bird recently shared.
The last ‘When Calls the Heart’ Christmas special aired in 2019
Five When Calls the Heart holiday specials aired between 2015 and 2019. The movie-length episodes were beloved by fans and often featured big moments for the show’s chracters. For example, 2018’s The Greatest Christmas Blessing saw the recently widowed Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) give birth to her son Jack. That special also served as a backdoor pilot for the spinoff series When Hope Calls.
But since 2019, When Calls the Heart has been conspicuously absent from Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas schedule. And unfortunately,...

The CW is shoring up its schedule for fall 2023 — and bringing a couple of familiar faces back to the network.
The broadcaster has partnered with Canadian network CTV and Fremantle on Sullivan’s Crossing, a family drama about a neurosurgeon (Morgan Kohan of Hallmark’s When Hope Calls) who returns to her small hometown in the wake of a professional scandal. Gilmore Girls alum Scott Patterson and former One Tree Hill lead Chad Michael Murray (who also had a role on Gilmore Girls) also star.
The series, based on novels by Virgin River author Robyn Carr, will air on The CW in the fall. It’s currently midway through its 10-episode run on CTV.
“Sullivan’s Crossing is an emotionally rich, authentic family drama that will immediately resonate with audiences thanks to an incredible cast and relatable themes of self-reflection, second chances and the power of community,” said Brad Schwartz, The CW’s president of entertainment.

Real-life Hallmark couple Jocelyn Hudon and Jake Manley star in ‘Love in the Maldives’
In Love in the Maldives, Hudon plays Rae Parker, a single travel writer whose editor sends her on a trip to the world’s most romantic vacation destination: The Maldives. Rae’s the adventurous type and relaxing at a luxury hotel doesn’t provide much in the way of material for her column. She turns to guest experience expert Jared Joseph (Manley) for help. He steps in and helps her explore a legendary shipwreck. But in the end, Rae might discover love instead of buried treasure.

The world of holiday programming continues to grow. While Hallmark Channel and Lifetime have seen major success with their “Countdown to Christmas” and “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” slates, respectively, Great American Family joined the discussion in 2021.
In June 2021, the network, originally tilted Great American Country (Gac), was acquired by Gac Media, a group formed by former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott and Hicks Equity Partners. In the fall of that year, the network was relaunched as Gac Family.
Under Gac Media, Great American Country changed to “Gac Family” and later to “Great American Family” — the title they have gone by since August 2022. The channel became similar in content to what Abbott had created at Hallmark, including original made-for-tv movies, holiday programming and big franchises. However, it also focuses more heavily on faith-driven programming.

Lori Loughlin is set for her first romantic comedy for Great American Family, as the When Hope Calls alum will star in Fall Into Winter, premiering in January 2023. It’s the actress’ first major role since playing the part of Abigail Stanton in When Hope Calls Christmas last year, which marked her first acting role since the 2019 college admissions scandal. In August 2020, Loughlin was fined and sentenced to two months in prison after she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pled guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud. “Lori is a genre-defining star that I have had the honor to call a close friend and collaborator for more than 15 years,” said Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media. “We have a shared vision for creating meaningful and memorable movies that resonate with our passionate fans, and I look forward to welcoming her back to Great American Family to anchor our 2023 winter programming slate.

Great American Family, a television channel that’s not the Hallmark Channel, has big plans for white-collar criminal/actress Lori Loughlin, with network CEO Bill Abbott telling Variety: “She’s America’s sweetheart, regardless of whatever happened.”
“Whatever happened” refers to, of course, the two months of prison Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli served in 2020 after pleading guilty to fraud conspiracy charges in the college admissions scandal known as “Operation Varsity Blues.” The couple was accused of paying William “Rick” Signer — the alleged mastermind behind the scam — 500,000 to have...

Does Lori Loughlin deserve a second chance?
Bill Abbott from Great American Family sure things so.
Abbott spoke with Variety recently, and Loughlin's presence on the network is definitely on his mind.
It's not a secret that Loughlin found herself caught up in some bad practices regarding her daughters and their college entrance applications.
Loughlin proclaimed her innocence, was ultimately convicted and sentenced to two months in prison, fined 150,000, and ordered to do 100 hours of community service.
This is the United States of America, where we believe in freedom of choice and consequences for your actions.
Loughlin took her licks and deserves to carry on with her personal and professional life. Others do it all the time.
Abbott is ready to warmly embrace Loughlin for her television return.
She's already appeared on When Hope Calls, which Gac Family acquired from Crown Media.
It's no surprise since, under Abbott's tenure at Hallmark,...
