This episode form 1966 features the Lennon Sisters, Barbara with Bobby, and Aladdin. The latter manages to ham it up as he was fond of doing.
It is part of the Golden Age of the show, which runs to about 1968. After that, The Lennons, Aladdin, and others are gone. As Jack Imel once commented, in subsequent years, Welk hired so many people that songs were drastically shortened and cut to get everyone in. Instrumentals were brief, and songs lost all but the first 2 stanzas.
Sad to think that all but a handful of performers are no longer around; the 20-somethings are over 70 now, with a couple in their 80s. But it was a pleasant show.
