How To Train Your D.. og

Heart warming short with a pretty sad beginning, but the continuation cheers you up. Through trial and error, things get better, but not as good as intended. The end is heart melting, I confess. See it and feel it for yourself.

Cute and inspirational.

I was very surprised to find "Pip" on YouTube and even more surprised when I saw that it was made for Southeastern Guide Dogs, a non-profit agency near my home that trains service dogs. I had no idea they financed a film....and was really surprised when I saw that it was made by Studio Kimchi in Barcelona, Spain!

"Pip" is the story of a yellow lab who really wants to be selected and trained as a guide dog. While he's very little, he hopes to make up for this with determination. However, during the training, he screws up and is booted from the program! Is there any hope for a second chance?!

This is a very cute film and one that might even make you tear up just a bit as you watch. While the CGI is only average (at best), it is effective and the simple story works well...drawing attention to the need for service animals.
