This television film turned out to be surprisingly decent. Pretty solid acting as well.

Slow at first but still want to see what happens

A little slow moving at first, the movie keeps you wanting to find out what happens. A woman is having a relationship with a colleague who is married to the bosses daughter. She doesn't want to be the homewrecker. She finds out she is pregnant. They go to a resort where he takes her hiking on a path that is dangerous. His wife also shows up. So who has got it out for her? The man who wan't to keen about the pregnancy? Or the wife who suddenly showed up?

I found it hard to take this seriously because of the title! I mean really ? Killer Vacation! it sounds like a monster movie, so based on the title I was expecting
the worst.
Not as bad as i thought it would be, apart from the usual wooden acting you come to expect from these very B rated movies.
Scenery made it watchable, more interesting than the characters!

The most memorable line spoken in "Killer Vacation" is that of Jake Johnson, the feckless son-in-law of Mr. Benson, the head of the corporation for which Jake works. After marrying Gwenm the boss's daughter, Jake is told that he has impregnated his lover, Lindsey Harris. His first response is, "this can't be happening." He is constantly fumbling for his words and trying make excuses for predicament. Every time that he apologizes with his mantra, "I'm a jerk!", he is, at least for once, being honest with himself.
The main problem with the film was in the nasty set of characters with whom poor Lindsey has to interact. When Jake convinces her to escape for a vacation in the desert, Lindsey finds that her rival Gwen has checked in to the bridal suite of their hotel. Gwen has put a tail on her and Jake, and the nefarious Neil is photographing them and collecting evidence.
When Jake and Lindsey escape for a hike, she is led by her lover up a dangerous trail. She then slips and is clinking for her life on the edge of the cliff, until fortuitously rescued by a park ranger. This episode is one of many in which Lindsey is imperiled on her vacation. Even the handbook she is reading on motherhood is torn to tatters by he jealous Gwen.
The only breath of fresh air for Lindsey was the sensitive yoga teacher Kirk. Their scenes together at least provided some comfort to a kind mother-to-be who was drowning in a sea of troubles. This unpleasant viewing experience was only made palatable due to the cheerful baby shower in the denouement. By that time, Lindsey's nemesis had finally taken the big fall to put an end to her killer vacation.
