I'm emphatically believe that there is no such thing as a perfect film. At least, I was, before I saw Wownow Entertainment's 2019 smash hit "Jumbo." Every piece of it is utterly fantastic. Without any exaggeration, I can say that it could be one of the greatest films of all time. The story is enthralling, the writing is ingenious, and the animation is truly beautiful. It looks even better than films like "The Prince of Egypt" or "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse," which is remarkable considering the tight budget. I found myself cracking up at so many of the hilarious jokes and references, and I couldn't believe the big twist near the end of the film. Not to mention that the film perfectly integrates the breaking of the fourth wall technique. Another thing that stood out to me was the soundtrack. I bet John Williams would be a little jealous of it, truly I do. The songs perfectly capture the heartfelt emotion. They make you laugh, cry, and even feel something new inside. Not to mention I can't get some of the songs out of my head! I can't believe that the Dollar Store would only charge the standard price for this cinematic game-changer. Oh, and happy Opposite Day.
