  • In another scene, a man grips another man's head until it explodes in close-up with accompanying blood spurt and brain matter.
  • There is also a scene in which a man is slammed through a train, with accompanying large splashes of blood.
  • There are several strong gory images showing beaten, dead and injured people with blood on their bodies.
  • Truly one of the most shockingly violent and gory episodes in television history. Despite it being animated, the extent of the unflinching gore can be hard to handle.

Violence & Gore

  • Omni-Man crushes a man's head, with blood and brain matter splattering on Invincible.
  • Omni-Man punches Invincible over and over again. Blood sprays all over the place.
  • Omni-Man holds Invincible towards a train and it crashes into them. The passengers are obliterated against both of them with limbs and guts flying everywhere. It's an extremely shocking, brutal and gory moment.
  • Invincible tries to help a mom and daughter, hanging from a collapsing apartment building. The building ultimately falls, and Invincible is still holding the mom's severed arm. We don't see the daughter, but it's implied that she and the mom were crushed. Other civilians are killed on the ground, but it happens quickly. The scene is very intense and disturbing.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Lots of innocent civilians are killed this episode and Mark is pummeled to a bloody pulp. Definitely the most one of the most intense episodes next to "We Need to Talk."
  • We see Invincibles mom, Debbie, struggle with hearing Omni Man's story, and she loses it when he refers to her as like a pet. She breaks down a bit throughout the episode dealing with her new reality
  • Omni-Man crushes a man trapped under rubble who was attempting to reach his dead daughter, with blood and bone crunching. Disturbing.
