- Laurel Lance: Oh, to be in my 20s again.
- Dinah Drake: Ick. Hard pass. I was married at 21.
- Laurel Lance: Seriously? Who are you?
- Mia Smoak: Okay, I just accused my fiancée for nothing.
- Laurel Lance: Oh, he'll get over it. Or you'll move on to someone who wasn't a homicidal maniac in another life. Win-win.
- John Diggle Jr.: What are you doing?
- Mia Smoak: Babe! You scared me.
- John Diggle Jr.: I'm just the guy who you share your bed with most nights. Remember me?
- Mia Smoak: How could I forget? Your snoring always reminds me.
- John Diggle Jr.: I don't snore.
- Mia Smoak: Look, I know you hate to be anything less than perfect, but you do. Like, old-man style.
- Laurel Lance: Dinah, this is where you've been living?
- Dinah Drake: Well, it's right above the bar, and it has got a hell of a view.
- Laurel Lance: Black Canary and the captain of SCPD now owns a bar. Also, when'd you learn to sing?
- Dinah Drake: We didn't have much time for karaoke back in 2020, did we? So, how'd you find me? Sara?
- Laurel Lance: She said that she found you here a couple months ago and that you didn't want to come back with her.
- Dinah Drake: The day after Oliver's funeral in 2020, I woke up here. I had no idea how or why. When I got here, I found out that I don't even exist.
- Laurel Lance: I'm sorry, how is that even possible?
- Dinah Drake: I don't know, but there is no trace of Dinah Drake or the Black Canary.
- Laurel Lance: And what, you're just fine with that?
- Dinah Drake: I guess I came to realize that not having an identity can either be sad or it can be oddly freeing. I can let go of the people I lost, mistakes that I made.
- Rene Ramirez: Can I just say what an amazing man of honor I'm gonna make at your wedding?
- Mia Smoak: [hugging] William! Zoe, hi!
- Zoe Ramirez: I hope you don't mind me crashing.
- Mia Smoak: Never. It is so good to see you. Where's Keven?
- [William sighs]
- Mia Smoak: No. I thought he was the one.
- Rene Ramirez: Yeah. Well, apparently only having one partner was his problem. It's fine. This is your day. And speaking of, tomorrow there's gonna be an office for you at Smoak Tech.
- Mia Smoak: How many times do I have to tell you, tech is not really my passion?
- Rene Ramirez: What is your passion, exactly?
- Mia Smoak: I don't know.
- Rene Ramirez: 'Cause you can't be a socialite forever.
- Zoe Ramirez: Hmm, she technically can.
- Rene Ramirez: No. No, I'm sorry. She is way too smart for that.
- Mia Smoak: Okay, can I just enjoy tonight before I have to start adulting?
- Rene Ramirez: Fine. But I need a drink.
- Mia Smoak: I thought you were still in rehab, Connor.
- Connor Hawke: What's the matter, trust fund? You don't want me at your fancy little party?
- Mia Smoak: Long as you don't punch anyone or set anything on fire, we'll be okay.
- Paparazzi #1: Ms. Queen, when is your wedding date? What are you gonna do now that you've graduated?
- Mia Smoak: Not sure yet on both counts.
- Paparazzi #2: What would your dad think about your life choices?
- Mia Smoak: My father saved Star City so that we can enjoy it, and he also never graduated college, so I think he'd be pretty impressed.
- Mia Smoak: Hey, Trev, have you seen Bianca? She was supposed to be here an hour ago.
- Trevor: Heh! No, I'm not her keeper anymore.
- Mia Smoak: Okay, I thought you guys were still cool.
- Trevor: No, we are, but even when we were together, she never told me where she was.
- Laurel Lance: But you were the last to see her, weren't you?
- Trevor: Excuse me?
- Dinah Drake: Your number was the last one she texted.
- Mia Smoak: Uh, who the hell are you?
- Trevor: Wait. I-Is something wrong with Bianca?
- Laurel Lance: I don't know. You tell us.
- Mia Smoak: You can't just crash my party and harass my guests. Do you know who I am?
- Laurel Lance: A lot more than you do.
- Dinah Drake: We were friends of your parents.
- Mia Smoak: Then how come I've never seen either of you before?
- Laurel Lance: Long story, and less than zero time to explain. Your friend Bianca, she's in trouble. And we need your help to find her.
- Mia Smoak: Yeah. I'm calling security.
- Laurel Lance: Oh, I'm sorry to take you out of your bubble, but we really need you.
- [turning a ring on her finger, it glows; she grabs Mia's arm, and as memories flood back into her, she faints]
- Mia Smoak: I wanna say that you guys are crazy and that none of this is possible, but I know you're right. I remember everything; you two fighting alongside my dad, Zoe dying, my... my fiancee killing her. I remember my father dying. Why would you do this to me?
- Laurel Lance: Look, there'll be time for emotions later. I woke you up because your friend Bianca was kidnapped.
- Mia Smoak: There hasn't been any crime in Star City in 20 years.
- Laurel Lance: What is that, like the city's motto now?
- Mia Smoak: You don't know Bianca, all right? She's flaky. She's probably on a beach somewhere having a ball.
- Laurel Lance: I saw her, and she was taken. How are you even hesitating? Aren't you supposed to be the Green Arrow?
- Mia Smoak: Not anymore.
- Dinah Drake: Mia, I understand that you are torn between two worlds right now, but we need your help.
- Mia Smoak: Look, I don't even know if I can do this anymore, okay? I haven't trained. I don't...
- Laurel Lance: [throwing a glass, Mia instinctively catches it] See? Just like riding a bike.
- Dinah Drake: [seeing news footage of a riot] What am I looking at?
- Laurel Lance: Star City, 2041. This is a year from now.
- Dinah Drake: It's not possible. The city's safe.
- Laurel Lance: It doesn't stay that way.
- Dinah Drake: Because Bianca Bertinelli gets kidnapped?
- Laurel Lance: No. Because she dies. Three days from now, her body is found in the bay, her killer never caught. The city falls apart. Everything that Oliver sacrificed his life for.
- Dinah Drake: I thought this part of my life was done, Laurel.
- Laurel Lance: Then don't do it for you. Do it for Oliver.
- Dinah Drake: Okay. For Oliver.
- Laurel Lance: Good. Now there's one more person we need who's well-connected.
- Dinah Drake: And who is that?
- Laurel Lance: I'll inform you on the way. You do have something nicer to wear, right?
- Dinah Drake: You know, there has been no real crime in Star City in 20 years, Laurel. And zen's not that hard to come by.
- Laurel Lance: Well, I hate to break it to you, but Star City isn't safe anymore. Bianca Bertinelli's been abducted.
- Dinah Drake: Helena's daughter. The socialite. Why... why would anybody want to hurt her?
- Laurel Lance: Money, revenge, something to do with Helena. Who the hell knows? D, I need you to help me find her.
- Dinah Drake: You really came all the way to the future to rescue a kidnapped socialite?
- Mia Smoak: What the hell did you do to me?
- Dinah Drake: I would love to know that myself.
- Laurel Lance: There's this guy, J'onn J'onzz. He's a Martian or something. He's why we remember everything that happened before the Crisis. Cisco was able to replicate the Martian's powers using tech.
- Dinah Drake: So a friend of Supergirl's has a power a friend of the Flash can replicate.
- Laurel Lance: Yeah. That's what I said.
- Laurel Lance: You know, I could get used to all this free alcohol.
- Dinah Drake: So that means you will not be paying your tab downstairs?
- Laurel Lance: I thought it was a friends drink for free kind of place.
- Laurel Lance: I am not gonna sugarcoat it for you. Being a hero kind of sucks. And it never gets any easier because it's the hardest thing that you can do.
- Trevor: How are you still alive?
- Laurel Lance: Death by talking? You're gonna have to do better than that.
- Mia Smoak: Is Bianca actually in trouble?
- Dinah Drake: Yes. And if we don't find her, she is going to die.
- Mia Smoak: Fine. I will help you. But this is a one-time thing, okay? I'm not interested in joining your canary club, all right? I have a life now, I am happy, and I would like to keep it that way.
- Laurel Lance: Whatever.
- Mia Smoak: Where was Bianca when she was taken?
- Laurel Lance: Partying at Club V.
- Mia Smoak: Nothing Bianca loved more than a good party.
