Janet arrives home from the airport, and Tony asks her to make peace with Wendy so that there will be harmony in their home. Janet promises to try, though she remains bitter about Kip. Susan informs Tony she intends to yield to Frank Carver's advances as she might learn something from him. Later, Susan surprises Frank by accepting his dinner date invitation. Wendy moves forward with her plan to disarm Janet, but when talk turns to Kip, Janet recounts all of his past bad behavior: Nina, an illegitimate pregnancy, murder, prison. Enraged, Wendy accuses Janet of lying and trying to turn her against Kip. All bets are off. She now hates Janet even more.
