Jan rails at Val for her poor motherly advice in dealing with Wendy. When Wendy goes to Grace to complain about Janet's lies, Grace verifies Janet's story; however, Kip did pay for his mistakes. After Grace advises Wendy to examine her reaction to the truth, Wendy realizes she was unfair, though she still believes that Janet was cruel in using Kip's ugly past. Wendy is only interested in who Kip is today. Susan tells Grace about her upcoming date with Frank Carver, but Grace fails to talk her out of it. Frank attempts to have a fun evening with Susan, but he constantly dodges her subtle interview techniques. She realizes she will have to accept yet another date with him if she wants to learn something substantial. When Wendy apologizes for calling her a liar, Janet thinks the matter with Kip is closed, until Wendy reminds her that she also fell in love with Kip despite knowing about the rotten person he had been.
