I did not make a connection Warning: Spoilers
"Louis Vuitton, Our Journey Connected" is a fairly long title for a really short film that we have here. It is an American production in the English language, even if it was directed by Kiku Ohe. I suppose this involvement also explains the Asian actors int he cast here, but those who will seem familiar to Western audiences are of course Sophie Turner (from Game of Thrones) and Justin Theroux. Now this one runs for exactly 60 seconds and honestly, you can't fit much of a plot in this amount of time, so I guess that is why they did not even try. Instead they are going for what you may experience when watching these scenes and listening to the words of Turner that we even see speaking on one occasion in the sense of her mouth moving. Nothing too common for these commercials. Usually you hear voice-overs. So there I said it already, this iis a commercial, but I suppose you guessed that already (correctly) when readind the title here. I suppose it is the involvement of these two big-name actors that are the reason why this has an imdb page. Honestly, I was not really impressed by it overall. It did sound fairly pretentious admittedly what Turner had to say. Costumes are okay, sets as well and I did like the impact light and shadow had in here or lets say how these opposites were depicted. Also Turner looks really attractive physically now. Did not expect that. I am not a big fan of Game of Thrones gently-speaking, but I did not remember herf that way. Oh well, maybe she was just too young. As for Theroux, I thought he was really forgettable. So all in all maybe huge fans of Turner can check this one out, everybody else should better skip it. I give it a thumbs-down.
