- Two women meet for the first time at a Zoo, they bond over a lovely day and fall in love with one another; but a cruel twist of fate keeps them apart. When love is on the line, how long would you wait?
- The story follows a girl, Jackie, in her trip to the Zoo so she can sketch out animals, but quickly takes a turn as she is captivated by a girl with a parasol, Lucille, who she begins to sketch in secret instead. After a chance encounter with Lucille crying, the two become very fast friends, spending the day together until Jackie is called home due to an emergency, but not before she promises to visit Lucille again. As their relationship grows closer, Jackie confesses her love to Lucille, who admits she loves Jackie as well; but the moment is turned bitter sweet as Lucille admits that she's actually a spirit who's been living in the Zoo since she died many many years ago. Jackie in disbelief tries to touch Lucille, who simply fazes right through her; Jackie struggles to come to terms with the fact the the love of her life is dead and Lucille quietly accepts that Jackie may want to forget about her forever, because who could love a ghost? Jackie tearfully agrees to wait until she can be with Lucille in the afterlife, because her love for the girl is just that strong. The story then jumps to the end of Jackie's life, she visits the Zoo one final time, but has lost the ability to see, or even perceive, Lucille in any way. We see Lucille's sadness as she follows an unresponsive Jackie around the Zoo, and sadly watches as she leaves. The film then goes to Lucille's grave site where a new grave has been added, it's none other than Jackie. Lucille waits patiently by her grave until Jackie surprises her, this time they can touch one another, and the film ends with the sweet reunion of the two, now lovers forever together in the afterlife.
