This show is hilarious. Best new sitcom... and probably one of the better recent sitcoms. Thankfully it's one of the highest rated shows right now, reality TV is taking over my idiot box. I need fiction, and "Method & Red" is hilarious. To those of you who don't like it: don't watch. Don't complain that you don't like it... just don't watch it... that easy. I don't like reality TV, you don't see me going ALL over the World Wide Web complaining about it.

Anyway, if you have even a smidgen of a sense of humor and can enjoy this kind of comedy; watch it. While so far there has been no mention of Wu Tang, both Method Man and Redman basically play themselves: rich rappers living in rich neighborhood in New Jersey. In fact, the Wu Tang house is reportedly located in Central Jersey. The acting, while exaggerated, fits the shows exaggerated plots. It's meant to entertain. The only annoying part of the show is the laugh track. It's not a studio shot sitcom. It's filmed more like "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Arrested Development". I have however noticed the laugh track slowly diminishing.

Take the best of "The Cosby Show" and "Diff'rent Strokes," throw in a little of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," head the cast with one of SNL's better recent alums and a great comedian, and you have the finest new family sitcom on television. With a fun cast that includes the beautiful Tamala Jones, and the often hilarious John Witherspoon, it's a wonder why the show isn't on more top 10 lists of the season. Along with "Scrubs," "The Tracy Morgan Show" is NBC's present and future, and it would be sad to see these two shows sidelined by weak ratings or boring reality shows.
