Nip/Tuck (2003–2010)
Love It!
5 August 2003
My husband and I LOVE this show. It is hilarious, dark and gross....yes, especially me, I have a warped sense of humor. I think they're overdoing the sex, but what show doesn't these days. I love being shocked by what this show is getting away with. I find it eerie that the kid they've chosen to play the teen-aged son looks like Michael Jackson TODAY. Coincidence?

Missing It's Heart
3 July 2003
I am Arnie's BIGGEST fan.....I don't think it's a coincidence that we were both born July 30!

My tradition is to see all of Arnie's movies on opening day and this was no exception. I really, really liked T3....Arnie is still fantastic. My only let down was how little I was "moved" by the message of the movie, as I was in T1 and T2. This was the only thing I felt was missing....there seemed to be no "heart and soul." Would I recommend going to see it? OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purgatory (1999 TV Movie)
Very Enjoyable
1 June 2003
The only reason I sat down to watch this movie was because there was nothing else to do, nothing else on TV and I decided it had been ages since I'd watched a western.

Surprise...I enjoyed this movie from start to finish. The acting was great and the actors fit their roles. I loved the plot. If you get a chance, see this movie.

Abandon (2002)
Lame
30 March 2003
I thought I had heard that this movie was never given the credit it deserved. Wrong! It was mostly weird and slow. The plot twist was so similar to others I had seen I guessed what would happen. Would have been real sorry if I had paid full price to see this at the theater.

One Too Many Stupids
27 March 2002
I started watching this show with the greatest of anticipation. I finally gave up on it last week (3/18/02). Maybe it's because I read true crime, but the ludricous plot holes became ridiculous. I found myself going from saying one "stupid" out loud, to several in one sitting. I'm really disappointed because despite all the totally unbelievable things the writers are having the characters do, I really liked Kiefer Sutherland and the Sarah Clarke, who plays "Nina".

The Others (2001)
Thank you for this Movie!
21 August 2001
THANK YOU for this movie!!!! Nicole Kidman was incredible....someday maybe she'll get the recognition she deserves for being the incredible actress that she is. This is the first movie in ages that was not predictable...that had me guessing until the very end...and still thinking about it when I woke up the next morning.

Every time I thought I had it figured out (and that's not very hard to do with most movies....especially when you're a true crime/supernatural story fanatic), I was confused again.

The movie is deliciously scary with no violence or smut. Just class and good acting and surprises all around.

Here Come the Brides (1968–1970)
One of my all-time favorites as a kid
27 June 2001
I absolutely loved this show. Even though I was quite young, Robert Brown was the brother I was in love with. Could have cared less about Bobby Sherman and all the hoopla surrounding him.

I agree with everyone else....why can't this show be brought back on Nick-at-night, etc.? And what ever happened to Robert Brown???!!

Return to Me (2000)
Absolutely Delightful!!!!!!!!
18 July 2000
I went to see this movie mainly because I'm a die-hard x-files fan and because David Duchovny makes my heart skip a beat. I also figured Minnie Driver is a stupendous actress so how bad could it be???

It was WONDERFUL! It was heartwarming, sweet without being sickening. It was also very, very funny. I was so impressed and enjoyed it so much that I thought of finding where I could write to Bonnie Hunt and thanking her for it.

I give it a "9" and would recommend it to anyone...and I'm not even a love story fan!

Stigmata (1999)
Ignore the Reviews
16 April 2000
So sue me.....while I normally ignore reviews in deciding to see a movie, a review for this movie was so scathing I thought it must be awful.

Big surprise: I really enjoyed it. I loved the message it gave. While it had scenes similar to "The Exorcist", I think any movie that depicts the subject is going to be compared.

I thought Patricia Arquette and Gabriel Byrne did a good job (doesn't hurt that I LOVE Garbiel Byrne). Bottom line, for me, was the message of the movie.

Forget the reviews, I think they were totally, totally off-the-mark and unfounded.

Mystery Men (1999)
Why Did These Stars Agree to Be in This Movie?
19 August 1999
...and thank god I'm a big Janeane Garofolo fan...which is what prompted me to go see it....because she was the only redeeming value in this mess of a movie. From the trailers I saw and going by who was in it, it should've been great. I had a friend that said don't even waste your money to see it when it comes out on video. I didn't believe him. I was wrong.

What a Let Down...
6 August 1999
I agree with most of the other comments. I was REALLY looking forward to being scared without seeing teen-agers disemboweled (I don't even consider those horror movies...they're slasher movies).

I enjoyed the humorous moments and thought the acting was well done. Also well done was the depiction of the group's mental deterioration.

Most importantly though, I was not even REMOTELY scared. The ending didn't do a thing for me and was the ultimate let down.
