Star Trek: Hidden Evil (1999 Video Game)
9/10
Hidden Evil's plot is one of Star Trek's greatest.
1 December 1999
This game is one of the best I played. Using the actor's voiceovers and imagery was a turn in the right direction as this game recaps and finishes what Insurrection left open. The plot twists are sharp, and tie in directly with older Next Generation episodes, specifically, "The Chase". The only down side is the short ending, which doesn't reward much of the 8 hours it took to solve and beat. This game definitely deserves the Trek name, and I will hold it as one of the best Trek games made to date.

The Matrix (1999)

The best movie i've ever seen
8 October 1999
It's the best. Period. Words cannot describe the quality of this movie. See it for yourself. I haven't heard of one person that hasn't liked it. The effects are incredible and near-photorealistic. The plot is thick, inspiring, and gets better the more times you see it. The action is the best I've seen. More guns and kicks then you'll ever see in this rare plot-and-action movie.

Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001)
Are you a Voyager?
15 September 1999
Mike's comments were quite opinionated, but, the 1998-1999 season was Voyagers BEST, "Timeless", "Dark Frontier" the best episodes of Trek I've seen in awhile, and with strong and rare plot-and-action episodes coming up in the 1999-2000 season, Voyager is going stronger then ever. PS: Chacotay is cool.

Star Wars: Great Movie. But not worth the hype.
19 May 1999
The original theme plays and the Star Wars Logo appeared. Everyone screamed and clapped. It was awesome. But, the first part of the movie was really slow. The dialog was weak and the acting was average at best. Until the race scene the movie was somewhat boring. After the race scene the action started. Lots of Starships and battle scenes down on Naboo. I won't give out the story, but to tell you the truth there wasn't much. It was a pretty dry dialog from beginning to end. But it did introduce the characters, and the special effects were excellent. (Although I could still tell what was CG and what wasn't). Overall I give it a 8 out of 10. Hopefully, the next movies will be more detailed. Don't get me wrong it was one of the best movies I've seen, just not THE best. Friends of mine told me they enjoyed it more, because it made numerous references to the books. So I guess you half to read some of the novels before you can get some of the hidden plot. I did get most of it. "There is only 2 a master, and an Apprentice. Which one is dead? The Master or the Apprentice....".

Trekkies (1997)

Great explanation on why Star Trek is a "Phenomonon"
17 April 1999
I loved this movie. A great deal of effort was obviously put in by the creators of this documentary of Trekkers/Trekkies. Although some people may seem like they are going way too far, it's just another reminder that Trekkies believe in IDIC, (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations) and treats everyone as equals, no matter what race, religion, opinion, appearance, or "Trekkieness". :o) Full "10" by me.
