The Wrong Guy (1997)
A Comedy You Would Expect
11 June 1999
This is a comedy starring Dave Foley (of Kids In The Hall, and News Radio fame) as Nelson Hibbert, the a butt-kissing executive who is certain he has been appointed the new President of the company he works for, since he has done everything in his power to suck up to his boss, including getting engaged to his daughter.

Overall the movie was exactly what I expected. It is funny in alot of scenes, but it is a storyline that has been played out too many times already. Jennifer Tilly picks up the humour a bit with the appearance of her character, who suffers blackouts at unsuspecting times. Colm plays the killer perfectly, but I never expected him to play in this type of movie.

Watch for Dave's old "Kids In The Hall" buddy Kevin McDonald as a motel manager.

The swimming dead take to land...BEWARE!
1 February 1999
I can never resist a good Zombie movie, and this one gives that interesting twist ....the zombies appear to be amphibious! They are protecting their treasure resting at the bottom of the murky waters....and do so by scaring the treasure-seekers with their horrible looks! Ahhhh!! It seems every group of treasure-seekers that tries to steal the loot, end up dead, so good ole granny (who seems to be the only one who accepts these walking weirdos) takes it upon herself to have the grave sites pre-dug for their convenience....how charming... This flick also provides us with our standard staple of "ear-piercing scream" from the helpless and unknowledgeable "Jan" The underwater sequence becomes quite amusing when the zombies casually stroll along the bottom of the lake towards their sunken ship....I guess being dead prevents the burning of calories, thereby giving them that extra weight to stay down............happy viewing!

a true classic for the "cheesy horror" buffs
26 January 1999
This film is truly enjoyable as one of the classic cheesy horror flicks of the 20th century. As plain country folk become terrorized by the animals on their farm who's minds are under the control of..."THE BEAST!"...who to my dismay only has two eyes...............Watch for Dick Sargeant as the tough, yet understanding officer.......Good, Clean , Horror!!!

Thank God it ended..................

I spent $4.00 for this movie, and I want my money back! Aside from relying on racist comments from our black comedy relief, the whole story dragged on......I was glad to see it end in the unspeakable horror of the King of the Zombies dying in the eternal fire! Yes, the King is dead....
