Nowhere Man (1995–1996)
An excellent series that died sadly ;(

The big problem being that this was one of the early UPN shows. I really wish it had been able to survive the new network's early chaos. This was an excellent modern mixture of the confusing intrigues of The Prisoner with the running theme a'la The Fugitive. Amazingly, this show lived up to its inspirations and was very entertaining. Bruce Greenwood really did a fantastic job with all the plot twists and confusion.

I really would like to see Sci-Fi do a run of these at some point, because I cannot find most of my tapes of it and I would love for my brother to get a chance to see them too.

The Stepdaughter (2000 Video)

Better than most of these type movies.

While not a wholly original or fantastic movie, it is better than a lot of the other direct-to-video thrillers. Andrea Roth & Lisa Dean Ryan both do really well with their parts. If you can overlook the more predictable plot points, it is a descent movie to watch.

I was warned
17 January 2001
A friend warned me that this was the worst movie he had ever seen. I was curious, because it had developed a bit of a cult status. I like a lot of odd indie cult movies so I gave it a shot. I have to agree with my friend. It is a steaming pile of dung. I am sorry to the people who love this movie, but I can recommend much better stuff if you want to watch a twisted indie cult film. Try Peter Jackson's Dead Alive (aka Braindead), Cemetery Man (aka Dellamorte Dellamore) , or Modern vampires.
