Alien³ (1992)
not the best, but the scariest
I think that Alien 3 is the scariest of all the Alien movies. The aliens themselves are not as good as in the 2nd movie (if you show the entire creature in anything, it tends to look fairly silly), but they were good nonetheless. What made this film the scariest of the 4 Alien movies was right at the end (*SPOILER*) when you realise that the other Bishop would kill his own race for an Alien. Bishop II gave me nightmares for some time. The 2nd Alien movie was the best, but this one is definitely worth watching.
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962)
classic
This is a OK film, and worth watching although the outcome is generally obvious. Jimmy Stewart is good in this movie, although it is not the best he's been in (see Harvey or Mr Smith goes to Washington). Do not confuse this movie with the Gene Pitney song of the same name, it has taste.
My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988)
Pretty bad, but tolerable if you have nothing else to do.
A scientist (Dan Akroyd) sends a radar signal to outer space, disrupts a planet, who sends an agent (in the form of Kim Basinger) to make the scientist re-send the signal to fix the planet. She marries him and then saves the world.
The plot is not wonderful, neither is the acting but it is an interesting movie to watch if you have time to kill. Fans of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" will find amusing Alyson Hannigan and Seth Green (later Willow and Oz) going out together, and the fact that he was still shorter than her, even then.
6.5/10
Das indische Grabmal (1938)
Good film, fake death scenes
I thought that this film was really quite good. The beginning was not great, as it was a bit rushed, but it did get better. The plot was sometimes a bit sketchy and the dying scenes were so obviously fake - but otherwise it is a good thing to watch if you have nothing better to do.
