Worth to watch it
12 November 2003
Story of a boy left to their uncles to take care of whose know nothing about childs. Simple story with funny flashbacks as one of the uncle tell past stories of them in Africa. Frankly I didn't expected much from this movie but it's worth watching it.

A good try
19 August 2002
Hi,

I wait so long to watch the movie, and when I finally saw it, it didn't satisfy me. I think that's it' a good try for an argentine animation film (and thank god, different from the ones García Ferré makes). There some things that don't have an explanation about why characters do certain things or how they know things. There is a lot of failures on the script. For the animation 2-D and 3-D there are some good and some bad. In the voices, which is a fundamental part, there is a lack on directing the actors. The voices don't match the characters. There are like plain, without emotions. Only Phazir, done by Mally, seems to be doing this. Also the dialogue is kind of childish. Overall if you are argentine, it's still worth watching but don't expect too much from the movie.

Six stories about disappeared people
8 August 2002
The most important thing about this documentary is that has a different approach to the disappeared people subject. It focus the interest in what happened with the children of disappeared people. How was the childhood, when they found out the true about their fathers, what they remember of them. It also interesting the fact that it doesn't seem and interview and some of them went outside to where they saw for the last time their parents, a plaza with the name of one of the fathers, to check were certain pictures were taken, etc. It doesn't give you historic facts except in the beginning. This is understood. I liked a lot the way it was done

One of the best movies from Agresti
3 July 2002
The film is about Soledad a cab driver that get tired to drive in Buenos Aires and decided to get out of the city and end on small town who is completely isolated from the rest of the country. The only contact with the reality outside the town are the movies and these are old and mixed. There are really strange characters on the movie. It's really worth to watch it.

Typical argentine men meeting
1 July 2002
This movie shows the typical things that happen when a group of men get together to enjoy of a barbacue (asadito) in Argentine. It shows the discussions, the jokes, their dreams, their problems, etc. The best is that is well reflected. It's a whole day friends are spending together in the last day of the century. It really worth watching it.

Lola Mora (1996)
Buena
2 December 1999
The story of the Argentine sculptress Dolores Mora, better known as Lola Mora, autor of works well known in Argentine. She arrived in turn-of-the-century Rome, where she met figures such as Gabrielle D'Annunzio and Eleonora Duse, and on her return set up her atelier at the Palace of Congress. The challenge of being a woman in a world of men, and her links with the circles of power in Argentina of the begining of the century, led, finally, to being marginalized to poverty.

Documental muy bueno
2 December 1999
A documentary composed by some thirty interviews and pieces from film archives, many of them previously uncen, regarding the Montoneros urban guerrilla group and its starring role in the clashes which took place in Argentina in the period from the early 1970s to the mid 80s. It records the words of the survivors of those times, who pose the way to assembling the difficult puzzle capable of interpreting the social, political, and cultural context of an Argentina which came from decades of party bannings, persecutions and military dictatorships.
