Will Smith being himself
17 July 1999
Lead Character: This is Will Smith being Will Smith. In other words, he's being himself. Which wouldn't be odd, if he were doing his life's story. His character seemed decades out of place since Will is, as I just said, essentially playing himself.

Humor: Some things in this movie are funny, though I just smiled through most of it, not many laughs. I laughed more at cheese flick "My Boyfriend's Back".

Action: I can sum up most of the action in four words: Too hard to follow! Sometimes, things seemed to go so fast it was a blur! I sat in one of the middle rows and I fought the urge to get up and move back a few rows for clarity.

Plot: Almost non-existent.

SFX: EXCELLENT! Now, if only the story matched the excellence of the effects...

Overall: Good, but not great. And I absolutely HATED the neck magnet part. They had to be miserable! Thank God it didn't last much longer than it had to.

I give the movie a 6 out of 10.

Kevin will have you in stitches!
13 May 1999
First of all, this isn't a movie but a collection of comedy sketches. Kevin Turvey (played by Rik Mayall of "The Young Ones" and "Bottom" fame) is an investigative reporter who is given a topic each week to investigate and report on but rarely (ok, never) stays on topic! Instead, in his reports, he tells stories. Really STUPID stories that have absolutely NOTHING to do with the topic at hand. This video will have you rolling on the floor with side-splitting laughter! I recommend it to everyone as Kevin never fails to bring a smile to anyone's face!
