I have yet to be let down by a Star Wars movie. I thought Phantom Menaced rocked, and I think this one rocks as well. What's there not to like? Anakin is portrayed elegantly as the arrogant, inpatient student who has far to much power for his own good. Obi-Wan is the wiser Jedi Knight who struggles to keep his student in leash. Jango Fett is totally awesome and by the end of the movie you totally believe that Boba would follow in his footsteps. Mace Windu finally gets to show why he's a Jedi Master, and Yoda..you just have to see for yourself. There are just so many cool scenes in this movie I don't have time to list them all. And you gotta love the details put into this one, like how Palpatine's skin is a lot paler than Ep1 and his half-built HQ looks like the one seen in the TIE Fighter PC game. Again...what's there not to like?

I think Final Fantasy is a great movie, which totally works on its own level. This movie is japanese and it shows. It feels, looks and plays a lot more like anime than a traditional American action-adventure flick. And I think that is why so many people think this is a bad movie. They just went into the theatre, leaving their brain at home, and expected to see something like Aliens or Starship Troopers and instead they got this slow paced anime-styled flick with a complex storyline.

This is a very good movie, much better than the critics think and Square sure didn't deserve going bankrupt on it. Clear your mind and pay attention to the dialogue and you will enjoy it too...

oh yeah..and the story will come a lot more natural to you if you've played the Final Fantasy games.

It seems either you hate this movie, or you love it. I think it all boils down to what you expect when watching it. If you expect a Star Wars movie with its action sequences, light saber battles, epic storyline, slow story-advancing moments and a mighty John Williams soundtrack, this is gonna be the movie of the year. But if you expect the second coming, the answer to everything, and a divine experience that will change your life, don't look for it in a movie theater, cause you just won't find it there, not with this movie, not ever.

Phantom Menace rocks as a movie, but fails as a miracle.

The Neverending story is by far the best "Fantasy" film ever made and I doubt that it will ever be topped. I saw this movie with my dad one cold autumn afternoon, and my life changed forever that day. This movie taught me that fantastic places and wonderful creatures really do exist. You only have to want them to. Even today, aged 23, working in the computer industry, I find myself slipping in the Neverending Story soundtrack in my CD player and dreaming away to Fantasia...

This movie the most beautiful and touching movies ever created. It's an example of a timeless story, told with wonderful creatures and dazzling vistas of the land of Fantasia. The amazing and perfect soundtrack help capture your heart and won't let go until the end credits fill the screen. At which time you notice that you've been crying for the last ½ hour. I consider myself extremely lucky that this wonderful movie was shown to me at such a young age, telling me that the world is what you make of it.

And luckily, this September I can watch it all on DVD!!

This is a masterpiece, nothing less
