The Silencers (1996)
Send more aliens like Comdor
The movie is low budget but a lot of fun. Dennis Christopher shines in every scene and makes this a must keep for me. Unique twist in MIB and the bad aliens have cool eyes. If you can find it it's worth a watch.
Captives (1994)
tim roth is magnificent
This is a movie I watch over and over. You care about Rachel (Ormond) and Philip (Roth) from the beginning. You see the struggle they both go through when weighing what they have to lose by beginning a relationship. Then it's a romantic/suspenseful joyride to the end. If you like Roth or Ormond, you will love this movie, the rest of you, give it a try, you won't be sorry.
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1990)
Question, love all. I don't want to play. Statement, 15 love.
I loved this movie. Roth is wonderful as always, but Oldman was marvellous as the less brainy of the pair. It was hilarious to watch him discover the most simple things, like how the water level goes down in the bath as you get out. The verbal sparring was brilliantly written and performed flawlessly. If you are a Roth or Oldman fan, this is a must. If you like smart, slightly odd movies, you'll love this. But be careful, you just might get sucked in, too.
Curtain Call (1998)
It started promisingly enough, but it just became predictable
James Spader is always fun to watch and he is the only reason I rented this movie. He seemed to spend all his time chasing his girlfriend begging her to listen and she just kept running away. Add in two ghosts that only he can see and you've got the idea behind the movie. The ghosts are played well by Michael Caine & Maggie Smith. If you are a Spader fan, it's worth watching, once, otherwise don't bother.
