Finding Nemo (2003)
Great !!!
I put the tape in for the kids to watch. Then found I couldn't leave it myself. We also went to a movie party where it was showing and everyone there loved it. It just a very entertaining movie.
Torpedo Run (1958)
It an OK movie.
The story is a bit simplistic and not quite true to history. It's a soap opera set in a submarine. Fans of "All Creatures Great and Small" might get a kick out of seeing Robert Hardy.
The Perils of Pauline (1967)
It's a fun movie.
This is a movie that is fun to watch as well as being funny. It's also safe to watch with your kids. They will love the comic action, meanwhile you don't have to sit with your finger on the mute button to cut out the dirty words that most producer add in just so not to get the dreaded G rating.
It has been along time since I have seen it, however I'd buy it in a second if someone would release it on DVD !
The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
Why remake a movie that was made right the first time.
As I watched this movie all I could do was keep thinking how much better the 1968 release was.
I am a big fan of Pearce Brosnan and have no fault with his performance. I did also give a little chuckle at the idea of the thieves in the horse. Thats why I gave it a 3 and not a 1.
White Dwarf (1995)
I enjoyed it.
Non S.F. person might have a little trouble following the story. IT is a well thought out story line. As an earlier posting said, it has the look of a pilot film. But all of the best TV shows started as pilot films.
I only wish that they would put it out on VHS or DVD. My made from TV tape is starting to wear out.
Feds (1988)
It makes me laugh !!!
It may not win any awards as one of the all time greats. However it is a fun movie to watch. Sometimes you don't want a movie that you have to think about. Like I said it makes me laugh!
Santa Claus: The Movie (1985)
Great family fun !
This is a fun movie for the whole family. It is truly the legend of Santa Claus come to life. One of the must see movies for my whole family every Holiday season. Dudley Moore, John Lithgow and David Huddleston are perfect in their respective roles.
The Avengers (1998)
Yuck
This is the hardest vote I ever cast, (1). I looked forward to it's release for the longest time and feel I wasted my money when I saw it. It had a some funny points, not many however.
The only thing this movie did for me is make me glad that I own all the original Avengers stories on VHS.
