Mother Ghost (2002)
More than meets the eye!
I screened the world premiere of this movie at the Taos Talking Pictures Festival. I would like to say that this film was one of the better films that I saw at the festival. It is chalk full of emotional queues from parts that make you laugh to parts that make you cry. The character Keith learns much emotional growth in the film, and in turn I feel that he brings that growth to the audience as well. Make no mistake this one's going to make it. Good luck Mark, Rich, and Rod! You deserve the best from this wonderful piece of art.

American Beauty (1999)
Beautiful in so many words.
Try and imagine yourself down and out. So out, that you feel dead to the world. If you feel this way, and you haven't made love with your wife for probably 9 years then you will relate to Lester Burnham.
Lester's lust for something more in life emerges first as a crush on his daughter's best friend and fellow "Spartanette". This in turn only shadows in comparison to all the other major changes that he makes within his personal and professional life.
Without revealing all that it has to offer, I'd have to say there is not enough room to explain this "Oscar" bound movie.
See it to believe it!
Oxygen (1999)
Breath taking suspense!
If you are interested in being an independent filmmaker, this is a movie to see. The movie as a whole, from the unusual abduction to the plight of the sadistically minded heroine fighting the kidnapper and herself, brings a vision to the screen that holds both a humorous and twisted tone. Don't be surprised to feel awkward, frustrated, terrorized, and satisfied simultaneously when you catch this one.
Cheers!
