Personally, I found this flick entertaining. A dog is protective of the familly it lives with & adding the threat of a wearwolf adds spice to that concept. Movies seldom live up to the expectations of a book & therefore shouldnt be judged on one. But "Thor" lives up to dog traditions & the special effects, if not as extravagant as say; Howling, are still interesting.

Personally I enjoyed this one, it did seem to bear a very close line to Below Utopia which both are aka Body Count, which doesnt render my opinion negative. It is a story of art thieves whose mission has gone slightly awry. They pic up a beautiful hitchiker who is wise to the game. Have to deal with internal strife while trying to make it to the buyer. It like anything else is not for everyone, but one doesnt know if they will like it until they see it.

This is another movie in the Night of the living dead genre. It probably was one of the highest death tolls of any horror movie's Ive seen, & Im a horror movie buff. The idea is that radiation brought the dead back to life & the only way to send them back to the grave is by destroying the brain. The zombie's move quickly & can use guns & fly a plane, but have a thirst for blood. They cant talk but they have scene after scene of gore & carnage. If your a gore fan, you should check this one out.

An excellent film, one of the best war movies + the most realistic depictions of submarine warfare in WWII. What action, what glory, what irony! Everyone was at their best in this one, I bought the uncensored version which adds an hour to the flick, I was so sick of the "Dirty, rotten, Nazi, German" flicks that I almost didnt want to watch any more war flicks, but this is one about Germans who followed their leader wether they liked it or not, & did the best they could. A must see.

This is a film about a bank robbery, with little concern for other's well being. The lead is a self centered egotistic homicidal maniac. He surrounds himself with people he can control. He has no respect for women. Lots of violence, some shooting & deaths, really low budget. There is a rather interesting sex scene where the lead & a consenting hostage have different views about sex, I thought it had a realistic ring to it. I rented this under the title Violent Offender. I thought that it was enjoyable if you can get past the low budget.

This film was very well done, the plot was the ongoing saga of a crew in space including a cowardly commander, a dead warior & a gorgeous sex-slave. Everything is so surreal but in a psuedo believable scenario. Rutger Hauer gives his usual good performance. Eva Habermann, man talk about outstanding looking! Do yourself a favor & rent this one, it's also titled Eating Pattern.

Tom Savini has proven himself again with this remake of the original. It follows the plot closely with subtle differences, & updated special effects. One would wonder how can anyone do this movie, the original was great, it was a breakthru in horror plots etc. Well, one way to say it is that imitation is the greatest form of flattery. But this movie stands on its own feet.

This had good (in my book) sex appeal. Monique Parent has a certain appeal that stays with 1 long after the movie is over. She leads the detective on a chase, luring him apparently for fun, only to disappear from his sight, she has random sex which in this day & age is almost unheard of in movies. I have to say that if this brief description appeals, then rent this one.

This is an excellent movie. Phoolan had no role model's to base her actions on, yet was able to bring about very necessary change to a land that was living in darkness when it comes to female treatment. I like the fact that it was a real story rather than made up, it added to the horror of the story, & the triumph.

I liked this movie because it had a certain fluidity to it in that it moved from scene to scene with grace. The story of a young lady trying to find love is not new, but the presentation of vodoo magic & angels lends to an air of the mistique 1 might hope for. It held my attention thru-out.

Here is one of the finest films that 1 can see, it has a feeling of horror that lasts way beyond the end of the movie. The acting, script, plot, & effects were beyond the norm. This is one film that isnt necesary to remake, it is fine as is, how can you top it? I especially like the ending as it kind of leaves you wondering what 1 would do in the same situation. Excellent.

This movie is great in that it was a breakthru in horror movies, in addition it is still great to watch even after all the movies that have followed in its wake. The situation of the living dead returning to feed on the flesh of the living is great, I really have troubles imagining a worse situation.

There is no cheer or hapiness in here, just confusion and desparation. I personally appreciate this in a movie, especially when it ends with little more hope than it began with.

When I heard they were making Alien 4, I thought NO! Ripley has done enough, she gave her life as the final act of destroying the aliens, but when I saw the film I was impressed, Ripleys come back was believable & as usual Weavers performance was compelling. 1 could feel the desparate situation, the fear, & the bond that made enemies friends.

This show was more comical than horror, I still enjoyed it because it was that way, there are individuals who have excessive behaviors, who finds work in the military, police, or security services to vent their own warped sense of reality. There were some humor involved as well, the compulsions that make people obnoxious on the 4th of July were displayed as well as the "penalty" for such behavior.

I have heard a lot of my friends complain about this 1, they felt as though it got out of the feel of things, I feel as though it was a good movie on its own merits, its not like the others but there were some good scenes & the concept was decent.

There were no happy times in here, there was no spectacular human emotions such as 1 can find in "On Golden Pond" no cheer, just gloom, depression, darkness, forboding evil, gore, the walking dead. & Colin Ramsy AAGGHHH!!!! Oh by the way I thourgholy enjoyed this one, its 1 of the better horror films in a while.

I liked the movie, it moved along & kept your attention, but Elzabeth Hurley, talk about a fabulous woman, I dont care if she can act, she looks good enough that it doesnt matter. Even if just to see her portrayal of a junkie stripper is worth the price of the movie. If your a Hurley fan, watch this movie!

I like this flick it had suspence elements that were well thought out & executed, but had I know that the little girl in Commando would bloom into such a ripe woman, I would have followed her career, closely. I like the camera work, the acting, the actors, the plot, but Alyssa takes the cake in my sight.

If you are looking for King Kong, you mispelled your search! This is a low-low budget movie that was soley >ment to entertain people in a comic sense. Here is the >most ordinary human who is the only 1 who can save the >world from a 185' 300 ton behmouth. Surely you can see the humor in that.

this film never really made it to the target audience, it is perceived to be a vampire flick by traditional standards yet that wasnt the concept. Talisa Desoto did a great job of acting out the original comic character, this is more of a sci fi flick, there are some great scenes in here involving the vampire's domain, Vampirella, is motivated by revenge for her father's murder, & sees it thru to the end. If you enjoyed the original comic, then watch this.

Here we get to see the 4th sequel to the famed movie of this title. There are many addtionals that didnt make it in the first 1 such as the fact that leatherface was a cross-dresser. Renee Zellwegger, & Matthwew McConaughey both give great performances in this movie, there are some pretty creepy scenes in here. I enjoyed this flick in that it had some ideas based on the first 1 only expanded. The sick family having their usual spats, the flirtations, their dinner. I recomend this film to horror fans.

One heck of a bang up job! I love the scene where the priest goes into action saying "I kick ass for the lord!" Or the whole 'Simius Raticus' aspect is great including the telling of how they came into being. The baby was great! I was on the floor rolling around laughing over the walk thru the park scene. Or tons of little scenes that rate to be talked about, but if you havent seen this youll have to find out on your own.

Ripley took the fight to the Aliens as no one else did, she single handedly destroyed more Aliens than anyone could, By the end of this flick, she had given her all, its great work, great acting, great special effects. Gore, suspence, the fear of not being safe, its all here. Highly underated movie, it didnt make the fame it deserves but still impresive. I highly recomend this to all horror fans.

Sam Raimi has some of the best movies, Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, the list goes on but Dead by Dawn; Evil Dead II is a masterpiece. Scenes of his dead girlfriend dancing 1/2 rotted for him with her head coming off, the laughing furniture, Bruce Campbells 1 liners, the A-team style combat readiness, Ted Raimi's portrayal of the demon mother, it's all too good. I have watched this film over 100 times & still love it. Tons of blood, Candarian Demons, evil going ons. I suggest it to all horror fans.

Being a former Marine myself, I identify with this part of the Alien movies, I like the way they had the 'boot' lt who had no experience in charge (SNAFU) Paul Riser has always been a villian in my eye since this flick, even playing opposite Hellen Riser in Mad About You, has never changed his character to me. What can I say about Weaver that hasnt already been said, she is the perfect individual to rid our galaxy of these intergalactic cockroaches! I have seen this flick over & over & it just gets better & better, its my personal favorite Alien movie.
