I loved Clerks and Mallrats but thought Chasing Amy and Dogma sucked. This is the best of the bunch. Great jokes, great cameos, everything was just hilarious.

This has to be the funniest movie I can think of. Damn it's just that good.

I went to see this with a couple of friends. We were expecting a dumb but fun movie: this movie was just so horrible we all walked out. The whole thing reminds me of the annoying guy who intentionally acts stupid while high and thinks he is really funny. I can see that kind of person liking this movie but that is it.

BTW, I've seen Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures recently and it is hilarious.

This is really an amazing movie! It is so passionate and intense. It all feels so genuine as well.

During my childhood this was my all-time favorite! From an adult (25) perspective, his movie is as damn amazing as I remember. Thee story and dialog are really damn good. There are so many classic scenes. I got my girlfriend to watch it. She was convinced it was going to be a stupid Arnold muscle movie (it seems almost everyone thinks this) but she loved it.

It's such a change to see such an un-ironic passionate movie. I can't see a movie like this being made today. The nudity and violence were great and added realism without ever being flatly gratuitous.

Don't see Destroyer though, that was absolutely awful.

After hearing so many times that this was the best movie of the year I had to see this. I love the thoughtful and different movies that are found outside the Hollywood top 20 and I had the mistaken impression that this would be that type of movie.

The story was retarded and childish. It was just dumb. It centered around this whiny annoying girl who was just damn annoying. The fight scenes were just trash; there was no realism, excitement, or sexy visuals; it was tame, generic, watered down movie fighting.

I can't figure out why so many people are just in love with this movie.

The movie makes out this court case so the good guy is unambiguously good and right and the bad guys are the typical out-for-their-own-greedy-interest type. It is amazing and how uninteresting, unexciting, and completely predictable the whole thing was. There weren't any attempts at any new, interesting, or provocative ideas at all.

On the good side, however, the beginning had some cool fighting scenes, and this movie did serve as another vehicle for Samuel L Jackson to say "motherfucker" which was cool but that's it.
