The Paradine Case (1947)
A different movie form Hitchcock
I have seen quite a lot of Hitchcock movies. I have even seen "The trouble with Harry" which has a strong sense of humor. I should say that this one is also a kind of different from rest of his work the subject is more about romance than the case itself.
Although the movie was a little bit too long but it still kept me entertained till the end of it. The start was very promising though I didn't quite like the ending but I like the adult talks between Gregory Peck and Ann Todd. I recommend this movie to couples.
My rating for this movie is 7 out of 10.
BTW my favorite Hitchcock movie is still North by Northwest.
The Traveler (2010)
Read the reviews and don't watch the movie
The only reason I saw the movie was Val Kilmer, I usually don't watch a movie rated less than 6.
The movie plot sucks in every way. There is unnecessary gore. Why there are cars from 60s 70s parking outside the police station? It made me think that the movie takes place in 70s, but suddenly one of the police officers mentioned that cell phones were out due to bad weather, why?
Val Kilmer's script in this movie reminded me of Arnold Schwarzenegger's movies, he whistled more than he talked.
I start fast forwarding from the middle of the movie. At the end I blamed myself not reading the reviews.
