Dune (2021)
Boring
I am a fan of movies like this so I was looking forward to seeing it. But I have to be honest this movie was one big long bore. The last 20 minutes was ok but I would never again want to see it.
Independence Day (1996)
Very good movie
I really enjoyed this movie. If they had left out all the comedy and the stripper stuff it would have been brilliant. But it is a very good sci-fi movie.
Sleepy Hollow (1999)
Boring
I was expecting this movie to be great but I was so disappointed. It is very over rated. Tim Burton has directed good movies but this is a dud for me. If fifty minutes were taken out it may have been fine.
Ocean's Thirteen (2007)
Very boring
I really enjoyed ocean's eleven, classy movie. Great plot. But this movie was a real bore for me. No more oceans movie's for me.
Same cast and director but the script is bad.
Hotel Artemis (2018)
Boring nonsense
I was expecting this to be a great movie . But unfortunately it was a boring drag. Some great stars in it but the director messed up.
A hotel for injured people.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)
It is getting like a soap opera
I love this show, but too much personal stuff going on. Compared to a few years ago, liv and her baby. Folks dating each other. But I still watch it every week.
The Village (2004)
Terrible movie
The most disappointing movie I have seen in a long time. Great actors took part in this boring flop.
It dragged and dragged. I hope I never see another boring movie like this.
Halloween Kills (2021)
Terrible movie
This is the worst movie, so far, in the Halloween franchise. The acting is terrible. Production terrible. I was so disappointed. I can't believe that Jamie lee Curtis took part.
The Doors (1991)
Overrated movie
I like the doors music. I watched this movie expecting it to be really good. But about half way through I was bored. Jim Morrison was a great singer. The Doors were ahead of their time. But the second half of the movie dragged.
Leaving Las Vegas (1995)
Great acting by the 2 main characters
I enjoyed the movie. Great acting. Sometimes depressing but overall a very good movie. The best movie I have seen Nick Cage in.
It really shows how depressing Las Vegas really is.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)
It is getting like a soap opera
I love this show, but too much personal stuff going on. Compared to a few years ago, liv and her baby. Folks dating each other. But I still watch it every week.
Burn After Reading (2008)
Poor
I thought this was a boring movie. Lots of big names in it, nothing more.
Zombie Apocalypse (2010)
one of the worst movies I have seen
I can handle my fair share of "cheese", but this one just sucks on any meter. Terrible acting, terrible script and horrible directing make Zombie Apocalypse one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I really had a problem sitting through this mess of a movie. The zombies were not even scary. I was even rooting for the zombies. I was hoping they would kill everyone else off before the first 15 minutes and the movie would just end. It really seemed like a gang of friends with some camcorders just went to some abandoned buildings out in the woods and just did a weekend take. I rented this at my local video store. It was on the new release section next to Zombieland. I am going to give them a hard time for having this on the new release section.
Control (2007)
Great acting, well shot but dull
Being a fan of Joy Division I was really looking forward to seeing this movie. I did not get to see it on the big screen, as I had hoped. Maybe I was expecting too much based on all the great reviews but I was disappointed by this movie. It had great acting and it was well shot but the pace was just too slow for me. In particular the scenes involving Riley and Lara really dragged. Shooting it in black and white was a great idea. I also did not have a lot history of his life, so the movie did answer lots of questions for me. I was surprised to see he was a civil servant. If only there was a better script this movie would be a classic for me. But maybe on a second watching I will see more.
